3 Winter objects

Match the nouns for winter objects to their definitions.

4 Winter weather

1. When I looked out the window, everything was white. Flakes were falling
from the sky.
2. It was very hard to see anything and we used the brightest setting for the car
headlights.

5. The wind got stronger in the evening and the snow continued to fall fast.

6. It wasn’t snow and it wasn’t rain, it was a mixture of the two. It fell for a long
time.

8. This morning a lot of the plants had ice on them. I think many of them might
die.
