POWERFUL IMPRESSIVE SOUND
A major attribute of the speakers design is their high sensitivity. They typically need less than half of the amplifier power required by other designs in order to reach convincing theater- like levels. Even at these high volumes, the VR loudspeakers retain amazingly high levels of clar- ity and realism. All five Boston® VR models feature dual woofers for deep, authoritative bass and low distortion. In each model, the woofers are separated by a precisely calculated dis- tance resulting in a noticeable increase in clarity and detail.
HEAVILY BRACED MDF CABINETS
The cabinets have extensive internal bracing and are constructed of Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF), chosen for its favorable acoustic characteristics.
