EXPERIENCE
“KISS”: Keep It Short & Simple. Use more space to describe most recent / most significant / most
relevant experiences while avoiding too much unbalancing
Description has to be result-oriented / evidence-based: Use relevant action verbs at the simple past
(analyzed, directed, interviewed, developed, managed…) and figures (% sales increase, % increase in
margins, # of deals, # of people, # of pitches, conversion rates, duration…)
Other significant experience has to be significant (eg sports at regional / national / international level,
music during 10 years+, long volunteering activities…)
For language abilities, provide evidence of your level whenever possible (eg official standardized test
scores)
For computer skills, try to have more than “Excel, Powerpoint, Word”
