Using other materials may result in a different finished size. Be sure to check your gauge and
adjust your hook size to obtain the correct gauge. Gauge will be listed at the start of each
section. The finished doll is 22 inches tall.

For the first leg (left leg), end rnd 51 with a sl st, cut and fasten off
For the second leg (right leg), continue rnd 51 until you have come to the
center of the inside of the leg. This is to shift the starting point. I did 17sc
extra. Do the number of sc you need to end in the correct place. After you
have ended rnd 51 in the correct place, ch 4.
Rnd 52 : sc into the left leg at the center of the inside of the leg, 25sc
(around left leg), 4sc (into ch sps), 26sc (around right leg), 4sc
(into ch sps) (60)
Make the wire frame. Cut two sections of wire 18 1/2 inches each. Holding
both sections together, (measure 8 inches) bend in a 90 degree angle,
(measure 2 1/2 inches) bend again. This forms the legs. Cut two sections 8
inches long. Holding both sections together wrap about an inch around
the center of the leg section (where the crotch would be). This forms the
body. Cut two sections 15 inches long. This is the arm. Holding both
sections center it at the top of the body and using the body section fold
about an inch around the arms. Wrap the entire frame in tape to secure it.
Insert the wire frame into the legs. Carefully work the frame down the
center of the stuffing. Stuff the rest of the body as you go.
Rnd 61 : 4sc, dec, (8sc, dec) x5, 4sc (54)
Rnd 62-69 : sc around (54)

Rnd 71-78 : sc around (48)
Rnd 79 : 3sc, dec, (6sc, dec) x5, 3sc (42)
Rnd 80-91 : sc around (42)
At the end of rnd 91, continue to sc until you are at the center of the back.
This is to shift the start point for the next rnd. I did 5sc extra. Do the
number of sc you need to end in the correct place. You will be connecting
the arms in rnd 92. When connecting the arms pay close attention to the
position of the arms. Before beginning rnd 92, put the arms on the wire
frame. Work the frame down the center of stuffing in
each arm.

Shirt
Yarn in the following colors : White, Coral, light Gray, Delft Blue, Hunter
Green, Dark Country Blue, Cherry Red. 4mm hook. Gauge is 6sts per inch
and 6 rows per inch. Shirt is worked in rows.
Tip : each row is a different color, you will notice a pattern in the color
change, white does not have to be cut at all, when you need it, just pull it
from where it hangs and carry it up the back of the shirt. You will notice
each color (not white) is used 3 times before you need another color, while
a color is being used you may also carry it along the back so you don't
have as many strings to tie.
Tie off all loose ends you have this far and put the shirt on the doll. It
should be tight and slightly difficult to put on. Continue to crochet with the
shirt on the doll. Be sure to fasten ends as you go.

Tip : I crocheted the entire sleeve and than put it on to connect it. It is very
difficult to get on but I find that easier then crocheting the sleeve while on.
You should choose whatever you find easier.
For first leg, end rnd 20 with a sl st, cut and fasten off
For second leg, connect it to the first leg by doing 4 sc through both legs.

Be sure you sew the strap in a criss cross.
Do the second strap the same as the first one using the other back loops.
Sew on red buttons at the top of the overalls where the straps attach.
Using Navy Blue yarn and needle, create “stitches” by working the Navy
Blue along the edge of the overalls and the straps.
Ch 6

Pant leg bottom (make 2)
Yarn in the following colors : White, Coral, light Gray, Delft Blue, Hunter
Green, Dark Country Blue, Cherry Red. 4mm hook. Gauge is 6sts per inch
and 6 rows per inch. Bottoms are worked in rows.
Remove the safety eye and put super glue in the space it belongs in. Put
the safety eye back in, hold for a few seconds while the glue dries.
Ch 10
Row 1 : in second ch from the hook, sc across (9)
Cut leaving a tail to sew to the head
Attach yarn with the inc section on your left side. Attach yarn in the 8th st
Cut strands of yarn 7 1/2 inches long and root it on the hair cap with the
increases on the left side.
Sew the hair onto the head. The 6sc strip at the top should be centered
above the nose at around the 6th row of the head. One side (no increase
side) will appear to not cover enough of the head, but that side is the side
that will, later, have the hair stapled to the head. Use photos as placement
guide.
Ears (make 2)
Aran yarn and 3.5mm hook
Sew the ears onto the head using the photos as a guide.
Use Burgundy yarn (split the 4ply yarn into 2ply) to create scars and cuts
on the face. Use photos as a guide. Go over some of the scars with black
yarn (stitches) and go over some with light gray yarn (staples). After all the
scars are in place. Use black eyeshadow to fill in the open cuts. Also
lightly around the right eye and over the scars. Use photos for guide.
Insert wooden dowel into the body and sew on the head!
