Ⅰ. Introduction
1. Welcome
Thank you so much for your smart selection with this product, congratulations to you for having a
multifunctional machine with diversified printing objects and wild application fields. We hope you
can have a machine with good use and good maintenance so before start, please follow the
manual and read carefully ‘red color fonts’. Pay attention to the sentences with ‘note’ ‘notice’
‘important’ ‘attention’ ‘warning’. Please keep the manual safe for further use.

Ⅱ. About the printer
1. Screen Window. Display the current state of the machine. When the display OFF is the printer on-line
failure, check whether the USB cable and the computer are properly connected; whether the USB cable is
loose and damaged; whether the PrintEngine software is opened; and whether the USB driver is installed
normally. When showing Ready to prove that the printer online normal, such as print;

3. Emergency Stop Power, which can be pressed when the machine encounters emergency to avoid
machine been damaged;
4. Y Axis Belt. Control Y axis moves;
5. Y Axis Guide Rail. Control the flatbed moves. In order to ensure the printing quality, please keep the
guide rail lubrication (note: please use machine Liquid lubricant);
6. Up Button for Platform;
7. Forward Button for Platform;
8. Down Button for Platform;
9. Back Button for Platform.;
10. Ink Indicator. When the ink level lower than normal print level, please add ink;
11. Grading Strip. Please keep the grating strip clean all the time.
12. X-Axis Belt. X-axis belt controls X-axis moving, please ensure the belt tight, when there’s any loose
please tight it or contact our after-sells technician on time.
13. X-Axis Guide Rail. In order to have good printing please keep the guide rail lubrication (note: please
use machine Liquid lubricant);
14. Waste Ink Box. Clean up regularly about a week;

21.Print Head. The key part of the printer, please don't touch. When the head been hit during printing, it will
cause irreversible damage to the print head. So please pay highly attention of the print height when printing.
22.Print Head Plates. The plates are the protection of the print head. Every time after automatic head
cleaning by computer there would be ink residue there, please keep it clean (Note: do not touch the print
head when do cleaning.)

Ⅲ. Software Installation
Find the attached Metal USB flash drive, plug it into the computer, find ,
double-click installation;
After the installation is complete, restart the computer

Ⅳ. Work Process
1. Use heat press machine to pretreat the cloth and make the surface flat. Spraying cloth
processing solution uniformly in the printing range is beneficial to enhance the printing pattern color
brightness and color fastness.
2.Photoshop sets the printing image size, printing color effect, spot color channel creation and so
on. After setting, save the image format in TIFF (save the image name as English or Arabic
numerals).
3. Use UltraPrint opens the TIFF image, and sets the final printing Ink
amount, Resolution, Pass speed and so on in UltraPrint. Save the image in PRN format.
4. Use PrintEngine software to open the PRN pattern and click "Print".
5. After printing, do not directly touch the printing pattern on the cloth surface, and use the Heat
Press Machine for pressing again. Removing excess moisture from textile ink helps to enhance the
color fastness of printed patterns.

Ⅴ. How is the Cloth Treated
➢ Prepare Tools:
Heat Press Machine, Lint Roller, High Temperature Insulating Cloth, Light Color Cloth, Dark Color
Cloth, Pretreatment Liquid(for light color cloth), Fixing Agent Liquid (for dark color cloth)
➢ Process conditions:
1. Temperature of Heat Press Machine: 165℃-175℃.
2. Two small watering cans . The light color Pretreatment Liquid and the dark color Fixing Agent
Liquid should be distinguished.
【Water blending ratio for Pretreatment Liquid solution is 1:1 (1 part of treatment solution with 1 part of water)
and for dark color Fixing Agent Liquid solution, water blending ratio is 7:3 (7 parts of treatment solution with
3 parts of water)】

Ⅵ. How to Make a Picture that needs to be Printed?
--Photoshop for set positioning frame, creates a new spot color channel.
A. Set the actual size of the printing objects’ frame, the more precise the better;
B. Resolution of the printing objects, need to be more than or equal to 500 DPI;
C. Color mode: select RGB mode
Enter the above parameters and confirm
Tips : If the layer has a lock, hold the lock and put it into the trash can to unlock it. (see picture below)
②“CTRL+A” to select entire canvas, right-click the selected area, choose stroke.

③The stroke can be about 15-20px (mainly based on the size of the picture, the larger the picture, the larger
the width). Please choose a color that can be printed out very clear (for example black or red)
Location: choose inner (that is means the picture you’ve been printed will be inside the stoke)
④Or “Ctrl + click the picture layer” ,then choose on right side manual choose “New
Spot Channel” Set spot channel as 100%
⑤ File → Save as
Select the save location(such as desktop)named the file and the format is TIF. Show as below:

②Insert a picture. Then select “Image”→”image size” to change the image width and height to fit positioning
frame.
Normally the picture is not a square. For example, enter the same width as the positioning frame, regardless
of the height, and choose the resolution same as the frame picture, then click "ok" (shown below).

Click “Edit → Free Transform” in pop-up manual(Ctrl + T), then press Shift,use mouse to drag the four
corners of the picture zoom in and out proportionally. If you need to rotate the picture, right-click the picture
and choose the rotate options (see pictures below). Then the picture is ready to print.
④Spot color.
How to make white spot color
Before making the spot color, need to think that when print the picture, the white may larger than the picture
itself, so you need to make the white smaller than colors. For example, the full size picture you need to
increase the canvas size (image → canvas size) by 1 mm, and then zoom out.
First press “ctrl+left click the picture” to select the picture. Then “select→ modify → contract →
contract option”, choose the px(Normal in 5-8 px), then “ok”.(Tips: the px which zoom in or out depends
on the size of the picture. For example, when picture smaller than 1.42MB then zoom out about 1-2 px)

Then choose channel on right hand side →”new spot channel”, here will have an option window. In new
spot channel option, do not change the name, choose any color you like (Normally can use red, see picture
below),solidity have to be 100%.

Ⅶ. UItraPrint Output Software Instructions
1. Software Instructions
② Set the printer: “File” → “Printer Settings”. Select "XP600" and set it to "Default Print", otherwise it will
not print normally, as shown in the figure below:
③Software output function Settings: Click "Setup" → "Option" , as shown in the figure below:

Here you can set the output parameter:【Tips: Each setting, need to click “apply” first then click “ok”】
A. Output Path: Specify the save location of the print file, which is only valid when the output port is a file port.
B. Temporary File Path: specified the location of temporary files generated during program processing. When
the temporary files are exited, the program will be automatically deleted.
C. Halftoning: Select the suffix of 2bitsd.
D Priority: Select the priority of the printing process when printing
E. White Ink: Choose to have the spot which you have been done in the photoshop.
F. W/oil deepen. The white ink density is set to Max.
G. Default. Click this button to restore the relevant settings on the current option page to the default settings.
H. Advanced: Select the advanced button then you will see the following window, shown as below:
This option is mainly for choose the curve (ICC) for color compensation. When choose to print some
common pictures, for example portraits, landscape pictures, etc., choose the Standard ICC Mode. Facial
colors will be more real and delicate. When printing some single colors such as big red, big green, and
big purple etc., the general mode must be increased, so that the color saturation of the pattern will be
much higher;

④ Curve addition and use: The details are as follows:
a. Find the " " folder in the UltraPrint installation directory, and create a folder such as XP600
(4260\4050\3350\6060\6090\1290) according to the model in this folder, and set the pointing linearization file
(***. CUV) copy to the corresponding folder;
b. Find the " " folder in the UltraPrint installation directory, create a folder such as XP600
(4260\4050\3350) according to the model in this folder, and copy the pointing curve file (***.icm) to the
corresponding folder Inside;
c. Curve usage: When printing, according to the size of the ink dots in PrintEngine, the accuracy of the print
output in UltraPrint corresponds to the same ICC. The letter -B behind the curve is the large dot, and -M is the
midpoint. There are only precision, ink dots and curve one. One correspondence can get good results;
A. Alignment of multiple pictures; B. The way the picture is centered; C. Arrange multiple pictures at intervals;
⑥ Add a picture: click the "place image" button on the toolbar (or right-click the mouse in the
box → add image), open the picture that needs to be printed, and edit the picture according to actual
requirements, as shown in the following figure:

The position of the picture printed on
the working platform of the machine
ultimately has nothing to do with the
position of the canvas where
UltraPrint is located. It is depends on
the X Marign, Y Marign of the Printing
software.

⑦ Print output and settings: click or Ctrl+p, and set according to actual needs, the program will
pop up a print confirmation dialog box, as shown in the figure below:
⚫ Curve description: First select the curve according to your requirements, mainly depending on the accuracy and
the number of passes in the curve (in the red box in the figure).
⚫ The larger the number of passes, the higher the accuracy, but the slower the printing speed. Generally, white cloth
is recommended to be printed with 720x1080 resolution & 12Pass, with moderate resolution & speed, the printing
effect is suitable for most customers. Black cloth printed with 720x1440 or 2160 resolution 16pass or 24pass.

2. UltraPrint Image Printing Settings
① UltraPrint software, "File" → "New".
② Add pictures.
Click the "Place Image" button on the toolbar (or right-click the mouse in the box → add image),select
the TIFF format picture.

③"Setup" - > "option".
1. Set the white ink concentration for printing. If you need to print spot color, select "spot " in white ink. If you need
to increase the amount of white ink, select the corresponding data at the concentration of white ink, and the
maximum is 100%.
2. "Advanced " → "Standard ICC Mode" → "OK";
3. After confirming the information is ok in the setting options, click "Apply" → "OK"

1.Main Interface
① The Functional Module Area is divided into seven sub-modules (from lift to right)
Task Manager: Current interface;
Param Setting: Parameter settings for printing;
Calibration: Setting of software parameter calibration
Advanced Param: Color channel configuration, sports, UV light, clean settings;
Voltage Set: Voltage adjustment setting;
Help: Board logic and software CFG information;
Motion Console: Control software front, back, left, right and reset;
③ Regional Functions
X Margin: Horizontal printing start position;
Y Margin: Vertical printing start position (tick the blank box to work);
Print Speed Options: The default "high speed" mode;

Uni-direction and Bi-direction Selection: Default "One way to the right" mode;
Step Adjustment: Adjust Bi-direction fine tuning during printing;
⑥File Preview
Previews of all printable files under the default path (the path selected at ④).
Right click in this area to "Refresh, Repreview, Repreview All And Add To Print List"
Tips: "Double-click" the picture or select "Add to Print List" to configure the task mode, and then add the task
to the task list.
In the task mode you can set: Horizontal Frame Number, Vertical Frame Number, Horizontal Space, Vertical
Space, Reprinting Times, Custom Horizontal Space, Multiple Color Ink and Multiple White Ink.
After setting the parameters, click "OK". The task enters the print list, waiting for print.

⑦Task Area
Display the list of printed tasks and detailed information of the tasks, right-click to select operation and
configurations.
⑧Status Bar
USB Link Status: Green "overspeed, high-speed, low-speed" ; Red "disconnected" ;
Flash Status: "on" and "off". Keep it open;
Carriage Unit Position: display the X, Y , Z for the coordinate position of the current carriage unit(need connect
with the printer ,then the parameter available) ;
Error Message: When an exception occurs, the lower right corner flashes red error code, click will see detailed
exception information pop up;
2.Print Setting
Material Settings: Default
Common Option: Printing speed: the moving speed of Y axis during printing. Default to “Low”; Average mode:
Default to “Close”;

Flash: You can setting the “Flash Frequency, Flash Ontime, Flash Off time”. Usually just keep the default.
Eclosion: Default Type in "Avg", Range can be adjusted as needed, max to the 100%;
Clean: Normally keep the default state;
Color Bar: Normally keep the default state;
Jump Empty: Default to use “Run Once”;
Filling Ink: Select single-head ink or all ink according to your needs, about 5 seconds at a time. Click "Stop"
when finished;
Auto Run Paper: Tick to enable. Default setting 26;
Apply: After each setting, click "Apply" to enable that (Pay Special Attention);
White Ink Print: Tick to enable. Default to use “W-Spot”
White Ink Loop: Tick to enable. Normally keep the default state;
Other: Normally keep the default state;
3. Calibration
① Head Horizontal Distance : Color print head on the left, white print head on the right, default setting is
"-1654"; Color print head on the right, white print head on the left, default setting is "400";
② Print Head Physical Installation Calibration:
A. Check Nozzle Status: print the status of the nozzle, if the lines broken, then clean until it change to normal.
B. Vertical adjust: printed line through adjusting the physical position of the print heads to make it print as shown
in the figure below.
C Horizontal adjust: Alignment of white, color and varnish.
③ Color Table: White, color and varnish alignment correction.
④ Apply: After each setting, click "Apply" to enable that (Pay Special Attention)

4. Advanced Parameter
A. Advance Parameter: Default Settings without modification.
①X Motor Gear: Click "Move", then click "Repos" after the carriage unit stops. You can increase the number of
pulses appropriately, increase the stroke, and measure several times, finally click "Apply" to save it.
②Y Motor Gear: Make the mark then click "move", measure the movement value and fill in the "Real length" ,
then click "calculate", And then click "Apply" to save. Repeat the measurement until the alignment is right.
③X Motor Parameter: Normally keep the default state.
5. Motion Console
Control the Platform forward, backward & back, the print head moves to the left & right, and reset the print head.

Ⅸ. Common Faults and Troubleshooting Methods
1. Double-clicking the Print exp control software has no response and prompts an error
In order to allow the machine operators to use the machine faster, you have debugged each machine when it
leaves the factory, so there is no need to install software, just unzip the file package and use it, but some
computer systems lack runtime files, so The software may not run normally, so you need to manually install the
runtime software. For details, see Software runtime installation.
2. The printer and the printing software can’t be connected, and the computer has no response when
plugged into the USB interface software
① Check whether the driver is installed;
② Check whether the Computer USB interface works normally.
3.Turn on the machine and software, move the print head carriage unit, the carriage unit moves to
the left and can't stop, or the software always displays the position of the carriage unit as 0
① Check whether the grating ruler is stuck in the middle of the grating decoder, or the grating decoder is too high
to read the reading;
② If the check configuration is normal: check whether the wiring of the grating decoder is connected (reverse
connection may burn the decoder), whether the grating decoder has been burned, you can replace the grating
decoder and test again;
③ If you change the raster decoder and it still doesn’t work, you can first check with the raster decoder on the
machine that can be used normally now to see if the raster value can be read. If it cannot be read, it may be the
raster of the board interface not work. If the interface is broken, the board can be replaced for testing. But almost
no such situation occurs, most of which are caused by unconnected wires.
5. The print prompts that there is an error reading the data mapping file or reading PASS data error
① The format of the file is problematic. Try to output to the file, and then set in PRN format.
② Restart printer and software;
③ The computer transfers data is unstable. You can install a PCI to USB3.0 adapter card on the computer.

Ⅹ. Disassembly and Cleaning of the Nozzle
1. Disassembly
① Power off the printer, move the head car to the middle.
② Remove the screw on the right and left side of the head cover (as the screws in the red circle in the picture).
Then remove the protective cover.
③ Remove the head cable connecting the head as the direction of the arrow in the picture.
④ Remove the head fixing screws that need to be removed (as the screws in the red circle in the picture)
Remove the damper as the direction of the arrow in the picture. When pulling out the damper, you can only hold
the front and back positions of the ink bag, not the left and right positions. Then shake the damper back and forth,
pull it out and put it in a bag to prevent the damper drop the ink onto the head and cable.
Note: Please strictly follow the steps below to clean the print head !!!
The Print heads are Consumable and Vulnerable. Once sold (or sold with the machine), there
is no warranty, please understand!
Warning: Please be careful that don't touch the print head cleaning liquid & ink directly with skin. If
you accidentally touch it, please wash it with soap (Or washing powder) immediately; If it gets into
your eyes, please rinse immediately with water; If you feel unwell, please seek medical advice
immediately!!!
When cleaning the print head, please be careful that the ink and cleaning liquid don't drip to the head cable and
the connection between the print head and the print head bottom plate. If it is accidentally dripped, it should be
cleaned immediately and dried with a hair dryer. To avoid burning the print head and mainboard, please wait for
complete evaporation, then you can put it on the printer later.

① Preparation Tools
Printhead, a New Syringe, a Hose, corresponding
to textile cleaning liquid etc.
④ Pump air in
The syringe is filled with air, connect the syringe with the ink guide column on the
print head and gently press down syringe , can see the print head surface of ink
out.
All ink channels need to do this, and each channel needs to repeatedly press air
twice. This is to clean the nozzles and prevent the nozzles from mixing with
residual ink during subsequent cleaning with cleaning fluid and causing nozzle
blockage. 【If you can't push the air down or the resistance is great, you can't
push hard at this time. Because the nozzle passage is blocked or in the state of half block, if pushing hard will
penetrate the internal channel of the nozzle. At this time, need to soak the head. (Please see step 7)】
⑤ Cleaning with cleaning liquid, the cleaning time is usually 1-2 days, repeat the operation this step
Suck 3-5ml syringe cleaning liquid and connect it with the ink guide column on
the nozzle, gently press down the syringe, and when you see the
droplet-shaped cleaning liquid flowing out of the nozzle surface, draw the
syringe upward. At this time, the residual ink in the nozzle will be pumped into
the syringe and then take the ink out. After cleaning the syringe with a small
amount of cleaning liquid in the cleaning syringe cup, pour it into the waste ink
cup. According to this method, clean each channel two to three times.
Let the print head stand still, repeat this operation every 10 minutes, the
residual ink of the print head will become less and less. Let it stand still again,
and repeat the operation every 30 minutes until there is no remaining ink out
which a long time of standing.
⑥ Increase efforts to clean the head and check the status of the head
After confirming that there is no ink remaining in the water droplets that flow out
under light pressure, the syringe will change from a droplet shape to a water
column shape when you use a little bit more pressure. If printing with "pass line"
effect, part of the water will be inclined to spray when cleaning (Don’t vigorously,
otherwise the head will be damaged). At this time, need to soak the head.
(Please see step 7)

⑦ Soak the head
If use Syringe to pressure air into the nozzle, has a hard resistance rebound, so
the nozzle blockage or in the state of half block, you can try to soak. Find a flat
container, leave enough room for the head. Then pour in the cleaning solution.
Don't need too much, just dip the liquid for the nozzle mirror. Soak for 15 minutes,
then clean it again. (The head shouldn't be soaked for a long time)

Ⅺ. Daily Maintenance Instructions
Flatbed printer is a high-resolution printing output equipment, some operators do not understand its performance and
operation skills, it is easy to cause a variety of problems, resulting in the reduction of the service life of the instrument,
to the production of enterprises bring great losses. Therefore, at ordinary times of work, do a good job of daily
maintenance of the printer is very important. So as an operator, how should the tablet printer be maintained?
1. Environmental requirements
① Indoor temperature requirements
The flatbed printer should be placed in the corner, to avoid high temperature and direct sunlight. The
suitable indoor temperature is 20℃~30℃, and the humidity is 25%~65%.
② Stable and flat working platform
Ensure that the working platform on which the printer is placed is flat and stable. (“Stable” means that
when the printer is normal working process, the working platform will not shake due to the movement of
the printer) The whole flatbed printer is very heavy. If the working platform of the old printer is not flat, the
printing platform will tilt and the printer will swing, which will affect the printing effect.
③ It is forbidden to place sundries on the printer
Especially beverages, tea cups, and liquids are strictly prohibited to prevent the liquid from entering the
printer and causing short circuit and burning the circuit board, causing irreparable losses. Wipe the dust

3. Machine Maintenance
① Weekly cleaning and maintenance of X and Y axis guide rail and lifting gear and rack

axis guide, add grease or solid lubricating grease to lifting screw.
② Prevent liquid splashing inside the machine

③ Clean grating strip every week
There are many scales on the raster. If the scale is covered with ink and dust for a long time, it will lead to
printing fuzzy size deviation, which will affect the final printing effect.
④ Opened ink must be used in a timely manner
If not must be sealed, because this will cause the evaporation of ink or contact with the air and
deterioration, causing print head blockage, and may affect the color fastness of the printed picture on the
product.
⑤ The ink bottle on the machine must be gently shaken every two days
Shaking time about one minute. To ensure the fluency of the ink and prevent ink precipitation and block
the print head.
