Subject: Proposal of Commissioner of Police, Thane for presenting traffic e-challan registered against you / your
vehicle in the Lok-Adalat for determination.

Sir/Madam,
Apropos to the subject mentioned above, you are hereby informed, that the Petitioner Commissioner of Police,
Thane had requested for referring traffic e-challan registered against you / your vehicle to the Lok-Adalat also meant
for pre-litigation claims, to be held on 9th December 2023. It is contended that you have violated the Traffic Rules
and thereby committed an offence punishable under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, details of which are attached with
this notice. Taking into consideration the aforesaid contentious issues, it is expedient for referring Traffic Challan/s
registered against you/your vehicle at pre-litigation stage of the Lok-Adalat u/sec.19(5) (ii) of the Legal Services
Authorities Act ,1987 for determination. Pursuant to Section 20(2) of the Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 r/w
section 12(2) of the National Legal Services Authority (Lok Adalat’s) Regulations, 2009, you are hereby called upon
to make the payment of the unpaid e-challans through eChallan Online Portal, Mahatrafficapp Mobile Application or
by visiting the nearest Traffic Division at the earliest possible or else your matter will be taken up before the National
Lok Adalat to be held on Saturday, 9th December 2023
Note:
1) If you make the payment as mentioned in the file attached with the letter forthwith or before the day of Lok-Adalat,
you are not required to remain present in the Lok-Adalat. 2) You can also make the payment of your unpaid e-
challan even on the day of Lok-Adalat at any subordinate Court nearby to you, where Lok-Adalat will be organized /
held. 3) This notice is intimation about unpaid traffic fines, and if the same remains unpaid, a case can be filed
regarding the same in the Court of Law. 4) To raise your Grievance if any, please visit Mahatrafficapp Mobile
Application. 5) Please do an online payment only on https://mahatrafficechallan.gov.in website & no other sites to
avoid any kind of fraud activities.

उपरोत नमुद िवषयास अनुसन आपणास कळिवयात येते की , याचीकाकता पोलीस आयुत, ठाणे शहर यांनी आपयािव / आपया
मालकीया वाहनाबाबत नोंदिवलेया वाहतुक चलान िदनांक ९ २०२३ रोजी आयोजीत दाखलपुव दायांसाठीया लोक अदालतीकडे
पाठिवयासाठी िवनंती केली आहे. यांनी असा दावा केला आहे की, आपण वाहतुकीया िनयमांचे उलंघन कन मोटार वाहन अिधिनयमांचे
तरतुदीनुसार िशापा व तडजोडपा असा अपराध केला आहे. तरी उपरोत िववादापद बाबी लात घेता आपणािव दाखल वाहतुक चलान
िवधी सेवा पाधीकरणाचे कलम १९(५) अवये दाखलपुव खटला हणुन अंतीम िनवाडयाकरीता लोक अदालतीकडे पाठिवणे उपयुत वाटते. तरी िवधी
सेवा पाधीकरणाचे अिधिनयम, १९८७ चे कलम २०(२) सह वाचन राीय िवधी सेवा पाधीकरण; लोक अदालत िनयमन, २००९ मधील िनयम
१२,२०(२) अवये आपणास सुचीत करयात येते की आपणािव अथवा आपया मालकीया वाहनाबाबत जारी करयात आलेया वाहतुक
ई.चालानची देय रकम आपण शय िततया लवकर ऑनलाईन पोट ल, Mahatrafficapp मोबाइल अँप अथवा जवळया वाहतुक पोलीस िवभागात
जाउन भरावी अयथा आपले पकरण शिनवार, िदनांक ९ २०२३ रोजी होणाया लोकअदालतीमये पटलावर घेयात येईल.
नोंद . १) या नोटीसीसोबत जोडयात आलेया चलानमये नमुद केयापमाणे ताकाळ अथवा लोक अदालतीया िदवसापुव तडजोडीची रकम अदा
केयास, आपणास लोक अदालतीमये हजर राहयाची आवयकता नाही. २) लोक अदालतीया िदवशी सुा आपण आपयाशी संबध ं ीत देय वाहतुक
ई-चलानची रकम आपया जवळया या महानगर दंडािधकारी यांचे यायालयात लोकअदालतीचे आयोजन करयात आले आहे या िठकाणी जाउन
भ शकता. ३) सदर नोटीस वाहतूक दंड न भरलेबाबतची सूचना असून, दंड न भरयास याबाबत यायालयात खटला दाखल केला जाऊ शकतो.
