INTRODUCTION
In order to maintain their level of excellence, organisations must put out effort in quality
management, which includes monitoring all of their activities and duties. The idea of quality
management is putting quality planning into practise, choosing quality policies, and assuring
and controlling quality. With the necessary tools and equipment for quality management,
businesses may meet the standards and expectations for quality (Jasti, N.V.K.. and et. al.,
2022). This helps businesses successfully coordinate their labour, and it also helps employees
perform their jobs more accurately and without making mistakes. This helps the businesses
guarantee the successful accomplishment of their goals and objectives as well as the
satisfaction of their consumers' requests and needs. This aids businesses in taking the lead in
their respective industries. Preventing errors, saving expenses, minimising waste, improving
procedures, and motivating staff are the key goals of quality management. To help the
business improve its operations, quality management calls for collaboration across all of the
organization's stakeholders. The report that follows will give a summary of the quality tool
firm, company-wide quality improvement tactics, and quality culture maintenance.
Discussions on overall quality management, quality assurance, cultural sustainability, etc.
will also be included in the report.

OVERVIEW
The Quality Tool Company is the basis for the report that follows. The company is situated in
England's North East. It was founded in the late 1960s. A young engineer founded the
business. The company's product line includes engineer rules, callipers, scribes, and other
items. The company generates relatively significant revenues because to the other products it
sells, including micrometres and some other speciality items.

MAIN BODY
2.1 The introduction of the company-wide quality improvement plan and Total
Quality Management
Quality Management System

It can be characterised as a management strategy that a business might use to achieve

success over the long term. Customer happiness can be raised at the business through whole
quality management (Pambreni, Y. and et. al., 2019). Also, the organization's employees
should be working to produce high-quality goods and services. With the use of overall quality
management, this is possible. TQM can assist the business in discovering faults at all levels
of operation and improve supply chain management. This will also help to improve the
customer's purchasing experience. The company should make sure that staff has access to the
right training and development resources in order to deliver high-quality products. The
decline in engineering activity in North East England is posing problems for QTC (Quality
Tool Company) (Saragih, J. and et. al., 2020). A large market area requires a company to
produce high-quality products and materials in order to get market share. Moreover, each
organisation needs competent labour to manufacture high-quality items.
The TQM tenets assist businesses in putting a stronger emphasis on the requirements
and needs of their clients. Flexible working conditions should be offered to organisation
employees so they can concentrate more on completing the assignment. By easing the
workload and relieving pressure, managers may benefit their staff. This can boost
productivity and organisational performance by increasing employee engagement inside the
company. Also, by assigning all duties and obligations in accordance with the capacity,
expertise, and abilities of the employee, the company can quickly expand their business.
Gaining market share in a cutthroat environment allows the respective organisation to focus
on ongoing development as well. The company might develop strategic planning in order to
fulfil its mission and vision (Montgomery, D.C., 2020). Also, in order for decisions to be
made efficiently, the management of the QTC must communicate with the staff in an
acceptable manner. The business can answer all of the employee's questions and clear up any
confusion through excellent communication. This will help the manager direct the worker in
the right way as well. Also, the management of QTC might offer alternate solutions so that
workers can improve their output (Oakland, J.S., Oakland, R.J. and Turner, M.A., 2020).
Employees can achieve the intended results by reducing errors and frauds through overall
quality management.

Sigma Six

This is referred to as the methodology required for the process of improvement within the
company. The business can analyse data and find faults and defects with the aid of statistics
and data analytics. Six Sigma can be used by QTC Corporation to reduce defects and
lengthen cycle times. A corporation can improve its performance by cutting back on
procedure variation. The application of Six Sigma can boost staff morale. The following is a
discussion of how QTC can use Six Sigma to improve the quality of products:

QTC might focus on the materials used in manufacturing. By doing this, they may
make the procedure special and cutting-edge. Also, they can increase returns by doing
this.
 Analyze: During this stage, the team members focus more on determining the causes
of failure so that the best alternative solution can be used. Identifying the causes can
help them maintain high standards for their products, which will help them establish a
solid reputation for their brand in the marketplace.
 Enhance: Management can take steps to raise the system's performance. Maintaining
effective teamwork is crucial for the business. Each team member should cooperate
with the others.
 Control: QTC needs to use the right tactics to both prevent and control mistakes and
defects. All manufacturing-related barriers to the production of engineering-related
materials should be removed, according to QTC managers.

2.2 Quality Assurance and its connection to the launch of the company's quality
improvement strategy
Quality Control

In order to raise the quality of the delivered goods and services, quality assurance pays close
attention to both the processes and procedures (Mizuno, S., 2020). Training, auditing,
monitoring, and documenting are all parts of quality assurance.

In essence, the PSCA process consists of four components or stages and operates
throughout the project life cycle. This cycle's primary goal is to raise the project's overall
productivity. About the Quality Tooling Company, the PSCA cycle not only helps the
management of the company improve the proper implementation of the project but also aids
the staff in problem-solving in a well-organized manner. Following is a discussion of the
PSCA cycle in relation to the specific company:

 Plan: This is the initial stage of the cycle, and it entails making precise action plans.
With regard to the QTC, a drop in engineering has been observed as a result of the
existence of intense competition on a global scale. So, it has become imperative for
the relevant company to design adequate strategies to improve the product line in
order to address this issue and compete in the highly competitive market. Also,
businesses must employ people with a wide range of talents and quality-related
knowledge.
 Do: Applying the plan inside the organisation and involving workforce in the
planning process is the next phase in the QTC process after establishing the plans.
