Established in 2013, Ascension Automation Solutions is the expert in the field of industrial
robotics with a specialty in robotic manufacturing applications, providing everything from
system design to machine commissioning. We tackle any project, including but not limited to
custom automation (design and build), machine retrofit, automation integration, and all

Additionally, you will be contributing to the design and subsequent implementation of new
software projects within a team setting. Many of these projects will involve working with
industrial technologies, and will involve interaction with robotics, networks, and PLCs.
An ideal candidate will be familiar with Agile software development, understand the
fundamentals of OOP, be familiar with basic Object-Oriented design patterns and
architectures, be familiar with basic data structures and algorithms, and possess strong
communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Summary: We are currently looking for an innovative and enthusiastic Software
Developer with a strong background in C#/.NET to join our team. In this role, your primary
responsibilities will be to extend existing software models by adding functionality, creating
error-handling functionality, building GUI components, and performing integration tests prior
to deployment.
Additionally, you will be contributing to the design and subsequent implementation of new
software projects within a team setting. Many of these projects will involve working with
industrial technologies and will involve interaction with robotics, networks, and PLCs.
An ideal candidate will be familiar with Agile software development, understand the

Job duties: Ability to Unit test, integrate, and deploy software components and learn new

Job specifications: contributing to building C#/.NET applications and working with other
programming languages, such as C++, Java, and Python. In addition to C++ working with
relational databases and SQL is an asset. Should be Capable of building GUI components and
have a Strong understanding of OOP principles. Familiarity with building Windows Forms
applications and have a brief knowledge of TCP/IP sockets. Familiarity with Git and GitHub
and exposure to basic OO design patterns and architectures and basic data structures and
