    Symptom

    When running transaction DRFIMG, you get the error "Switch MDG_DRF_MAIN_05 is inactive". Message
    No. DRF_COMMON013.

    Environment

    SAP Master Data Governance

    Reproducing the Issue

    1. Run Transaction DRFIMG.


    2. Error: Switch MDG_DRF_MAIN_05 is inactive

    Cause

    Business Function MDG_FOUNDATION is inactive on the system.

    Resolution

    Please go to transaction SFW5 and make sure the Generic MDG_FOUNDATION(2-9) business functions are
    all activated on your system. Please note that some business functions are not reversible which means they
    cannot be deactivated after you activated it. Please read following KBA and check if the business function are
    allowed to be activated in your system.
