    Dear Hiring Manager,

    As a devoted individual in the practice of nursing, newly earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with an
    emphasis in integrative health, I am delighted to be applying for the role of Emergency Department RN at
    HonorHealth Scottsdale Osborn. I believe that with my experience of leading a team, being independent, ability
    to manage multiple tasks, and thriving under pressure I would be able to exceed the needs and expectations of
    this position. These skills along with my educational background and intrinsic motivation, would allow me to be
    a valuable leader and asset to your emergency department.

    From May 31 to June 28, 2023, I spent multiple clinical shifts in the emergency department at your facility
    where I successfully began numerous IV’s, assisted in translation for a deaf patient, and acquired a better
    understanding of the work-culture at your facility. In my time at your facility, I developed a great appreciation
    for the work-culture and was impressed with the level of care and professionalism provided. In this experience,
    I demonstrated my critical thinking skills and my ability to individualize patient care for a variety of individuals
    experiencing a variety of disease processes. As I fulfilled the nursing responsibilities alongside a precepting
    nurse, I was able to offer my assistance to over twenty patients during those clinical shifts.

    Additionally, from August 2021 to the present I have worked at the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort as a front
    office supervisor and rooms controller where I have found many skills that apply to nursing. I lead a team of
    about twenty employees on a daily basis, organize and manage 400 rooms, oversee the documentation on
    reservations, and use prioritization skills daily to ensure transient guests and group contracted guests individual
    needs are met. I have been consistently recognized for my leadership skills, loyalty, communication skills, and
    ability to anticipate the needs of both our team members and the guests we serve.

    I maintain that with my leadership experience, dynamic skill set, and my attention to detail in the clinical setting
    would allow me to become an invaluable member of the HonorHealth team. Thank you for your consideration
    and I look forward to speaking with you about how my skill set aligns with this position.
