    Ans : Padmini was wounded with many cuts on her trunk so she
    couldn’t eat or drink and appeared very frightened.
    2) Why did Manoj take out the gun ?
    Ans : Manoj took out the gun to make Padmini sleep for few
    hours. He had to do it so that he could attend Padmini’s
    wounds.
    3) What did Amma feed Padmini ?
    Ans : Amma fed Padmini two bananas. After this, She took her to
    a nearby stream, where the boy poured buckets of water in
    her mouth.
