Chapter 1 Brief instruction

Wuxi Xuncheng control technology Company Inc. is specialized in researching,


designing, manufacturing and marketing of industrial automation technologies and
products. The company aims at providing industry equipment manufacturers with
advanced automatic control systems and products owing to the efforts of the company
qualified personnel fully experienced in the fields of printing,food processing,
medical equipment, etc.
XC-2001 Position Control System is designed on the bases of YXD-II Step motor
controlling series and CN-II and XC-II position controlling series modifications. It’s
main features are integrative design, full functions, high performances and reliability,
easy installation and maintenance. It incorporates advantages of the same kind
systems from domestic as well as from foreign manufacturers. Now the products
series have been selected by manufacturers and well received by the terminal users.

Chapter 2 Specifications

1 Electric power supply:220V(AC)±10%; 50Hz/60Hz; 2A.


2 Scope of application: Single-film, multiple-film bottom sealing, heat-cut &
bottom sealing, fully automatic (including stand, zipper pockets) and other
equipment for set length position controlling ( e.x. medicine packing, etc.).
3 Roller diameter: 00.0---149.9mm.
4 Set length: 0005---3599mm.
5 Speed: 0---300 sections/min,varying according to set lengths.
6 Number of piles: 0005---9999sections.
7 Number of lots: 000---999 lots.
8 Overall dimensions:240mm(width)×125(height)×165(depth)mm; Special size
products are also available.
9 Mass: 3.35kg.

Chapter 4 Operation

Controlling of the system is realized in real time. It will be performed


immediately, once the parameters have been set. Do not press the button “reset”.
1 Turn on the electric power supply and put the system into “action” state.
2 Press ‘ ’ button to set the parameter successively ; Press ‘+’, ‘-’ to adjust
the value .
L (Length setting): 5---3599mm.
П (Whole batch number): The number of bags per every batch , 5---9999. The
buzzer alarm 5 bags before reaching ‘П’ value . When count to the setting
number , PULL relay output , ‘NUMBER’ return to 0, ‘BATCH’ + 1 .
S (High speed limit): Step motor high speed limiting, 0---99 (high frequency
limit 0---99%) . Normally set to 0 , no limit .
H (Polarity switch): When make color bags , choose the polarity.
000=white→black, 100=black→white.
(color mark compensation): When make color bags,the color mark sensor trace
up to L+H length but even haven’t find the color mark, then the system
consider it as finished-product, and alarm . If this phenomenon appear 3
times,the system will stop the main machine; when set to ‘0’, the
compensate will not limited ,until find the color mark.
F (Password): After input the right password (21), you are allowed to modify the
parameters as below:
d Dragging roller diameter: 0.0--199.9mm(default motor torque-angle is
0.6º) . When the torque-angle is not 0.6º, then = Actual roller dia × motor
torque-angle÷0.6.
t Blank cut number: 0--9 ,valid when b=1,4,5. Indicate the times when knife
cut with no materials (1--10 times); pause machine time: 0--9 ,valid when
b=2. Indicate the machine pause time (1--10s).
b = 0 (ordinary machine) First turn on the main machine,then feed the
materials,don’t stop the main machine when reach П (Whole batch
number),output the bag-taking off signal JD2,this signal end on the feeding
material limiting position.
=1 (hot-cut machine) First feeding then turn-on the main machine.When
reach the П (Whole batch number),don’t stop the main machine and step
motor retreat 10mm at the next feeding position; at the same time , output
bag-taking off signal, this signal end at the feeding material limiting
position , the knife blank cut 1 time.
= 2 (pause main machine) First feeding material then start the main
machine, when reach П (Whole batch number),the main machine pause for
t seconds, then recover to run .
= 3 (stop main machine) First feeding material then start the main
machine,when reach П (Whole batch number),the main machine stop,
and don’t start again automatically. Step motor keep on feeding for 1 time
when output the bag-taking off signal.
= 4 (retreat then forward hot-cut machine) First feeding ,then start the
mainmachine, step motor retreat 5mm at E position, and compensate
5mm in this circle.Don’t stop the mainmachine when reach П (Whole
batch number),and retreat 10mm out put bag-taking off signal JD2,this
signal end at the feeding limiting position.At this time,knife blank cut for
1 time, step motor retreat 5mm when machine stop, then compensate it
after restart.
= 5 (hot-cut machine 2) First start the main machine,step motor begin to
feeding when detected the 2nd feeding position, if press ‘stop’button
during the process,the step motor retreat 10mm;The main machine don’t
stop when reach П (Whole batch number),and step motor retreat 10mm at
the next feeding material,output JD2 bag-taking signal , this signal end at
the feeding limiting position,and knife blank cut for 1 time.
= 6 (ordinary Machine 2) Feeding material first then start the main machine,
don’t stop the main machine when reach П (Whole batch number).
E Step motor speed curve selection: 0(fastest)--8(slowest),whereas the torque
is 0(smallest)--8(largest).
[ (Plugging Material time): 0-4, 0=no material blocking function, please set to 0 if
don’t use this function; 1 - 4 indicate 0.5-2 seconds (unit: 0.5 seconds).
3 AUTO detect length : When in ‘stop’ state, press ‘AUTO’, the ‘AUTO’
light bright, then press ‘FOR’ key, system will automatically set the length , press
‘AUTO’ again to quit auto state.
4 COLOR, WHITE: ‘COLOR’ means making printed bags, need to
use color mark sensor to trace the color mark; ‘WHITE’ means
making blank bags according to the length you set.
5 BACK/DOWN: Press ‘BACK/DOWN’ button for 1 time , the
bags NUMBER - 1.
6 CLEAR: Press ‘CLEAR’ key to clear the bags NUMBER to 0. Long press
for 3 seconds , BATCH number clear to 0.
7 RESET: Recover system to default number. Be caution if want to use
this function !

A Dragging starting position. At this time the cutting blade moves upward
just away from bottom blade, the step motor smoothly gives out the material to be
worked. (Fig. 1)
B Machine stopping position. At this time the cutting blade moves upward
near the max. Height. Machine stopping prevents the material from damage
by the heat-cutting blade. (Fig. 2)
C Dragging limiting position. At this time the cutting blade moves downward
just to the bottom blade, the step motor does not give out the material further,
otherwise the material may be jammed between the blades or broken away. (Fig.
3)
D Whole pile bag shedding position. At this time the cutting blade moves
downward just to the lowest point. The machine in this position pulls out the
pulling needle, then pushes the whole pile of the item outwards. (Fig. 4)
E Logic sampling position between the positions A and D. It helps the system
to determine GK1 positions.
E’ Whole pile bag shedding recovering position. In special states, the whole
pile pocket shedding signal would be recovered in this position.
Note: All the positions may be used for other purposes depending on various
operating states.
Sensor Ho-switch magnetic steel, note: there are positive and negative
directions.
