What Does PAS Stands For: Biggest
P) Pain/Desire : You get their attention with the Pain/Desire they are
experiencing , Pick one of their BIGGEST pain or desires and make it the
focus of the Copy
A) Amplify : To make someone take action you must amplify their pain
or desire , there are few ways to do this. Sensory experience: Make them
play a movie in their mind and that will trigger emotions. Future Pacing:
Give them the taste of what the future would be like if they either :
A)Resolved the Pain or B)Fulfilled The Desire.
A) Give them a movie of what happens if they don’t solve the problem, like
if they are obese they’ll have diabetes, lack of confidence and… tell the
negative things.
B) Give them the taste of what it feels like if they get rid of their problem
and have a great life, you’ll tell them positive things.
S) Solution : Now you direct them to take action to resolve their
heightened emotional state. You can use the action part same to DIC but
there are additional things you can do to increase readers compulsion to
take action.
Urgency) : If the reader believes there is a Limited time to take action
they are more likely to take action.
Scarcity) : The product has quantity and if they don’t take action now they
may lose the chance to join in future.
