HOW TO BECOME A
PHARMACIST IN
DUBAI(DHA EXAM)
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
u Have degree (B.Pharmacy/M.Pharmacy/PharmD or Diploma in

Pharmacy from an accredited college of Pharmacy recognized
in home country.
u Have the Registration from the Pharmacy council of their
home country
u Have two (2) years of experience in Retail or Hospital
Pharmacy in Private or Government Sector signed by Human
Resource Department or Director.
u Experience with Pharmaceutical companies or sales
Representatives is not accepted.
u Appear Exam and successfully pass the examination which will
be conducted by Dubai health authority.

u Secondary School Certificate (SSC) /10th
u 10+2/Intermediate
u Degree Certificate
u Registration license/ PCI
u Marks sheets all years Transcript all pages
u All experience certificates
u Passport both sides
u Photo with white background
u Good standing Certificate from Pharmacy Council
DHA EXAM PATTERN
u As of January 2023, Dubai Health Authority (DHA) examination
pattern is updated with a total time of 165 minutes for answering 150
Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). This means that the computer is
timed at 165 minutes when you begin your examination and it’s a
computer-based test. (CBT).
u Exam format: Multiple Choice Questions.
u Exam result: Pass or Fail only which can be accessed from applicant’s
account in Sheryan. The applicant score will not be shared.

u Exam result is valid for 5
years
u There will be only three
attempts
u There is no Age criteria for
the exam
EXAM CENTRE
u CBTs are managed and run by “Prometric” company through their
worldwide network of 8,000 test centers in more than 160
countries.
u PROMETRIC is an association which conducts exams on professional

certification and license for different associations and healthcare
agencies including Dubai Health Authority. In Kerala we have 2 DHA
exam centers in Trivandrum Other closest test centers are in
Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai, Gurgaon, West Bengal, Pune,
Ahmedabad and Hyderabad

A REGISTERED PHARMACIST
u STEP 1: Prepare All Required Documents
u STEP 2: Create a Sheryan Account
u STEP 3: Wait For Your Eligibility
u STEP 4: Apply for PSV/Data Flow
u STEP 5: Schedule Your Prometric Exam
u STEP 6: Go to The Test Center
u STEP 7: Wait For the Result
u STEP 8: Get Eligibility letter
u Step 9: Go to Dubai on visit and search for the job.
