Job Interview - Classroom Task
After the video. Preparation for the job interview: APPLYING FOR (WRITE NAME OF
THE JOB).
1. Now write down the questions that you heard in the video. Then, see Doc.
Interview_typical_questions (Classroom) and write 15 in total + Do follow up
questions during the interview.
2. Answer the previous questions. It’s very important that you back up your
assertions with an explanation and facts:
Example: “I consider myself a (adjectives) → determined person (explanation)
→because when I have made a firm decision I’m resolved not to change it, even if it’s
difficult to stick to it. (real facts) → For example, once when I was 16 I decided to
work as a builder to earn some money and, although it was a tough job, I didn’t quit.”
If you have a job interview, you can prepare for it. However, you won’t be able to prepare all
the questions they ask you. Why is that? Because, during the interview, you may say
something that grabs their attention and they want to know more about it; in this case, they
will ask another question, different from what you had expected! So if you ask a follow up
question this will be an improvised question.
