OMNIPURE™ SERIES 55

OMNIPURE™ Series 55 systems are the only marine sewage treatment system that oxidizes sewage
through an electrolytic process as well as generates sodium hypochlorite for the disinfection of the
sewage streams. OMNIPURE Series 55 marine sewage treatment systems offer effective electrolytic
treatment of both black and gray water while providing a safe and sanitary method of handling solids.
OMNIPURE Series 55 systems range in treatment capacities up to 65 m3/day (17,000 gallons/day) and
individual units that can be combined for increased capacity.

The OMNIPURE Series 55 systems incorporate an advanced electrolytic processes that imposes certain
physical and chemical changes to the wastewater stream as it passes through the treatment system
resulting in the wastewater effluent quality well below the MEPC.159(55) requirements. The OMNIPURE
Series 55 systems have received Bureau Veritas certification per IMO Resolution MEPC.159(55) and
USCG Certificate of Approval to MEPC.159(55).

OMNIPURE Series 55 units are specifically manufactured for offshore oil and gas installations requiring
permanent or long-term operation for the treatment of marine sewage. The rugged design of the
OMNIPURE Series 55 units is well suited for the rigors of these markets. Minimal maintenance, sanitary
solids handling, and light weight package design, makes the OMNIPURE Series 55 a long-term solution
for wastewater treatment.

MARINER OMNIPURE® SERIES M55
 

The MARINER OMNIPURE® Series M55 marine sewage treatment units offer a unique approach to
wastewater treatment on smaller vessel, workboat and yacht applications. MARINER OMNIPURE Series
M55 features a bulkhead mounted arrangement – a first of its kind – that provides safe and effective
treatment of gray and black water on board your vessel. The system results in wastewater effluent quality
well within the MEPC.159(55) requirements.

The compact, MARINER OMNIPURE Series M55 system uses proprietary electrolytic disinfection
technology. The system eliminates storage, handling and purchasing of hazardous chemicals normally
required with other treatment technologies.

The MARINER OMNIPURE system is an economical and simple treatment solution to integrate into your
vessel since it utilizes your vessel’s installed sewage and seawater pumps and in-place collection/
holding tanks.

Systems can accommodate treatment capacities up to 2,160 gallons (8,176 Liters) of human wastewater
per day. The MARINER OMNIPURE Series M55 systems have received United States Coast Guard
Approval and Bureau Veritas certification for IMO Resolution MEPC.159(55).

The MARINER OMNIPURE® Series M55 system is available in three sizes: Model M5503, Model M5505
and Model M5508. The MARINER OMNIPURE Series M55 system consists of an internal electrical
control panel, a highly efficient tubular electrolyzer cell, and multiple oxidation and dechlorination
chambers contained in a compact package to better fit the various shaped installation spaces that can be
found aboard vessels. The MARINER OMNIPURE Series M55 systems have received Bureau Veritas
certification for IMO Resolution MEPC.159(55).
