    Direct Speech Reported Speech
    Present simple: Past simple:

    John said, “I want to eat pizza.” John said that he wanted to eat pizza.
    Present continuous: Past continuous:

    John said, “I’m not going to Wuhan.” John said that he wasn’t going to Wuhan.
    Present perfect: Past perfect:

    John said, “I’ve finished my work.” John said that he had finished his work.
    Past simple: Past perfect:

    2) WH - Question
    ใช้ wh- ขึ ้นต้ นประโยคได้ เลย
    โครงสร้ าง Wh- + S. + V.1

    Direct speech:  Mark said to Irene, “What are you doing now?”
    Indirect speech: Mark asked Irene what she was doing then.
    Direct speech:  Mark said to Irene, “When is your birthday?”
    Indirect speech: Mark asked Irene when my birthday was.
