Expert Test (399)
Return to Sanctum. Head to the Protector's Hall. Here we will find Cornelius.
Pick up the quest "Essencetapper's Test". Then go to him right and find Sabotes to update the quest. In
your special cube, there will be a ring. Put it on, and head to Heiron.
Here, we need to aquire a "Blood Ruby", which is found in Ruby
NCSoft.
, a "Starry Diamond" in Diamond,
and a "Azure Sapphire" in Sapphire.
The odds of acquiring these now is approximately 10%, while in the past it was about 2.5%. For me it
took 10 diamonds, 9 sapphires, and 8 rubies.
All nodes can only be gathered 1 time each, so you will have to do some running around.
The suggested location is Stenon Bay in Heiron.

When finished, return to Cornelius, and pick up his follow up. Then go to the Cloister of Kaisinel via the
teleport statue to the left of Leah and speak with Eremitia to turn it in. Then retu
return
rn to Cornelius and
select "Improve Essencetapping Skill" to reach level 400.

Once you hit 499, there is no way to upgrade your skill. However, at 499, you are now able to gather any
node in the game. Katalam and Danaria have the most desirable nodes. Play around, and see what you
may find.
