Objectives:
General Objectives:
After 2 lessons in Music, students are expected to be able to play chords in the piano in
4/4 time signature.
Specific objectives:
1. To demonstrate to students playing chords in 4/4 time signature
2. To demonstrate to students the proper piano chord fingering
3. To test the student’s capacity by playing some simple songs
Learning Strategies:
Lessons (ETA: 20 mins)
1. Discuss to students the Major and Minor Scale
2. Demonstrate to students Chord formation and proper chord fingering
Activities (ETA: 20 mins.)
1. Practice major and minor scaling on the right hand with proper fingering

General Objectives:
After this lesson, the students are able to sing with air coming from the stomach and
distinguish from chest voice from head voice
Specific objectives:
1. To introduce the students, the difference between chest voice and head tone
2. To immerse the students to sing from the stomach and not from the throat
3. To test the student’s ability in reaching reach high and low notes
Lessons: (ETA: 20 mins.)
1. Demonstrate proper breathing.
2. Demonstrate getting air from the stomach while singing.

Objectives:
General Objectives: In the entirety of our guitar lessons with the Asilo children, we envision to
make them adept in using the guitar and know better the instrument they are playing. We will
strive that after this pastoral activity, the children in Asilo can play a number of mass songs and
as well as some secular songs. The mass songs are intended for their choir during the mass and
the secular songs will be intended also for their recreational use. For them to learn, we plan to
have discussions, demonstrations, and visual aids.

Specific objectives:
1. To discuss briefly some basic strumming patterns.
2. To discuss the guitar parts and its functions.
3. To demonstrate to them the guitar chords.

Teaching Strategies:
Lessons:
1. To introduce them with some basic strumming patterns. (5 mins)
2. To discuss and show to them the basic guitar parts. (5 mins)
3. To discuss and demonstrate to them the major, minor, and flat chords. (10 mins)
Activities:
1. They will share why they want to learn the guitar. (10 mins)
2. The students will play certain chords without any copies. (10)

1. They can play the song entitled:
