A blonde and a lawyer are seated next to each other on a flight from LA to NY. The
lawyer asks if she would like to play a fun game. The blonde, tired, just wants to take a
nap, politely declines and rolls over to the window to catch a few winks. The lawyer
persists and explains that the game is easy and a lot of fun. He explains, "I ask you a
question, and if you don't know the answer, you pay me $5.00, and vice versa." Again,
she declines and tries to get some sleep. The lawyer, now agitated, says, "Okay, if you
don't know the answer you pay me $5.00, and if I don't know the answer, I will pay you
$500.00."This catches the blonde's attention and, figuring there will be no end to this
torment unless she plays, agrees to the game. The lawyer asks the first question.
"What's the distance from the earth to the moon?" The blonde doesn't say a word,
reaches into her purse, pulls out a $5.00 bill and hands it to the lawyer. "Okay," says
the lawyer, "your turn."She asks the lawyer, "What goes up a hill with three legs and
comes down with four legs?" The lawyer, puzzled, takes out his laptop computer and
searches all his references, no answer. He taps into the air phone with his modem and
searches the net and the library of congress, no answer. Frustrated, he sends e-mails
to all his friends and coworkers, to no avail. After an hour, he wakes the blonde and
hands her $500.00.The blonde says, "Thank you", and turns back to get some more
sleep. The lawyer, who is more than a little miffed, wakes the blonde and asks, "Well,
what's the answer?" Without a word, the blonde reaches into her purse, hands the
lawyer $5.00, and goes back to sleep.

Chairil Anwar (26 July 1922-28 April1949) was an Indonesia poet and member of the
“1945 generation” of writers. He estimated to have written 96 works. including 70
individual poems. Anwar was born and raised in Medan, North Sumatra, before
moving to Batavia with his mother in 1940, where he began to enter the local literary
circles. After publishing his first poem in 1942, Anwar continued to write. However, his
poems were at times censored by the Japanese, the occupying Indonesia. Living
rebelliously, Anwar wrote extensively, often about death. He died in Jakarta because
of an unknown illness. His work dealt with various themes, including death,
individualism, and existentialism, and where often multi-interpretable. Drawing
influence from foreign poets, Anwar used everyday language and new syntax to write
his poetry, which has been noted as aiding the development of the Indonesian
language. His poems were often constructed irregularly, but with individual patterns.

The ethnic groups in the mountain regions of southwest and central Sulawesi
(Celebes) are known by the name of Toraja, which has come to mean "those who live
upstream" or "those who live in the mountains". Their name is in fact derived from the
word Raja, which in Sanskrit means "king". The society is hierarchically structured: the
noblemen are called Rengnge, the ordinary people to Makiaka, and the slaves to
Kaunan; birth determines which rank a person will occupy. The distinctive features of
the traditional houses (Tongkonan) of the Toraja are the "buffalo horns", the roof
design and the rich decoration on the walls. The buffalo is a symbol of status, courage,
strength and fighting spirit. Designed as a representation of the universe, the
Tongkonan is constructed in three parts: the upper world (the roof), the world of
humans (the middle of the building), and the underworld (the space under the floor).
The highly distinctive roofs constructed by the Toraja given rise to various ingenious
interpretations. Certainly, the roof is something of deep significance for the Toraja, and
even today they build "modern" (in other words houses built with cement) houses with
such roofs.

sunk to the bottom of the barrel to try to catch up and complete my challenge. I do
have a bit of a thing for vampire novels! And that said I bought three different first in
the series, to see if it would help me catch up and bring me back to target. Seriously,
this was one of the trashiest novels I have ever read! It was OK and fun, but I feel like a
complete fraud and fake adding this to the list of books I’ve read this year! But I did
nevertheless read it! So, it’s going to be added. Maybe one day when I’ve forgotten
how bad this book was and just how trashy, I’ll read a few more in the series! But
seriously guys I wouldn’t recommend it!

THE DANGERS OF TYPING SMS WHILE DRIVING - The popularity of mobile devices
has had some dangerous consequences. We know that mobile communications are
linked to a significant increase in distracted driving which results in injury and loss of
life. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported that in 2010 driver
distraction was the cause of 18% of all fatal crashes - with 3,092 people killed - and
crashes resulting in an injury - with 416,000 people wounded. The Virginia Tech
Transportation Institute found that text messaging creates a crash risk 23 times worse
than driving while not distracted. 11% of drivers aged 18 to 20 who were involved in an
automobile accident and survived admitted they were sending or receiving texts when
they crashed. Distracted driving endangers life and property and the current levels of
injury and loss are unacceptable.
