Personally, I agree with legalizing same-sex marriages in our country the Philippines. I
believe that everybody deserves the right to be with who they want and love no matter
what gender they are. Love is a form of art and it should not be bound by any limits or
restrictions. In our country, people tend to discriminate against other people based on
their appearance which is unfair because we don't know how much pain they're going
through because of what society says.
Another reason why I'm agreeing with marriage legalization in our country is that
according to the United Nations' Universal Declaration of Human Rights, everyone has
the right to marry and found a family regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity
which we can see as an example from France. The UN not only encourages but also
supports same-sex marriages because it will do a lot of good for the LGBT community
and it's aimed to encourage the countries that still have same-sex marriage bans.

Education should start at the preschool level and continue through high school. It should
focus on various topics like family planning, STI/STD testing, pregnancy prevention, and
sexual abuse prevention. There should also be an emphasis on adolescent development
during puberty, along with parental responsibility. Along with the education, there
should also be education on the proper use of contraceptives and techniques for
preventing pregnancy. In addition to this, a full sexual development curriculum should
be made available to all students starting from elementary school up to high school
level. Developing countries are known for very low access to contraceptives and other
means of preventing unwanted pregnancies. This is one of the factors that contribute to
high rates of teenage pregnancy across the globe.
Main Idea/Claim: (A claim is an idea or arguable opinion that you have come
up with on a given issue)
With the current rate of the female population aged 15-19, there is a high risk for
teenage pregnancies across the nation. The issue begins at an early age with a childlike
lack of information about sex education and abstinence. In some areas, it may not even
be available due to financial restraints or distance from schools where these courses are
offered. Another factor that contributes to this trend is their pattern of promiscuity
during adolescence which leads to sexual abuse, teen pregnancy, and unwanted
childbearing.
