1.0 DISMANTLING R.C.C / CC WORK
Dismantling RCC floor Work manually or by mechanically. including cutting
reinforcement from concrete in floor. including stacking at site and disposing of
unserviceable materials as directed upto any lead. Complete in all respect as per
instructions by the NRL Engineer. (demolished material shall remain the property 4.0 m3
of Employer.
2.0 EXCAVATION
Excavation for foundations, trenches and drains in all kinds of soil murum soil and
back filling the excavated material in foundation trenches plinth or under floor
including breaking clods, watering consolidation by ramming in layers not
exceeding 9" (229 mm) in depth to full compaction, dressing and disposal of
surplus excavated stuff as directed lead upto one chain and lift 5 feet.
3.0 CC 1:4:8
Providing and laying 1:4:8 (1 cement 4 sand and 8 coarse aggregate) using crush
graded boulders (machine broken) and down gauge in foundation including
leveling, compacting and curing etc. complete. (Page No. 29/14+30/27)
4.0 COLUMNS FOOTING

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete using crushed graded boulders
3/4 inch and down gauge having a minimum works cube crushing strength of
3000 Ibs. Per sq inch at 28 days with a mix not leaner than 1:2:4 in column footing
of required shape including form work and its removal, compacting and curing
etc. complete but excluding the cost of reinforcement.
5.0 COLUMNS IN SUPERSTRUCTURE

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete using crush graded boulders 3/4
inch and down gauge having a minimum works cube crushing strength of 3750
Ibs. Per sq inch and 28 days with a mix not leaner than 1:1-1/2:3 in columns of
any shape section including form work and its removal, compacting and curing
etc. but excluding the cost of reinforcement in the super structure.
6.0 BEAM & LINTELS

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete using crush graded boulders 3/4
inch and down gauge having a minimum works cube crushing strength of 3000
Ibs. Per sq inch at 28 days with a mix not leaner than 1:2:4 in straight beams,
lintels cantilever beams of required shape or section including form work and its 5.0 m3
removal, compacting and curing etc. complete but excluding the cost of
reinforcement.
7.0 RCC SLAB

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete crush graded boulders 3/4 inch
and down gauge having a minimum works cube crushing strength of 3000 lbs. Per
sq inch at 28 days with a mix not leaner than 1:2:4 in ordinary slab 5 inches to 6
inches thick including form work and its removal compacting and curing etc.
complete but excluding the cost of reinforcement. (Page No.

8.0 STEEL REINFORCEMENT
Providing and laying hot rolled grade 460 steel reinforcement bars complying with
BS-4449 including the cost of straightening, cutting, bending, binding, wastage
and such overlaps as are not shown in drawings, placing in position on cement
concrete 1:2:4 precast spacer block or M.S chairs, tying with binding wire (GI wire
of 18 guage), including cost of chairs and wires etc. in all kinds of RCC works.
8.1 Deformed Steel ( Yield strength of 60000psi). 6.0 Tons
9.0 DAMP PROOF COURSE

Providing and laying 50mm or 2in thick 1:2:4 (1 cement 2 sand & 4 coarse
aggregate) DPC under walls and entrance over plinth beams as per instruction and
specification of the consultant and approval of client. 5.0 m²
10.0 BLOCK MASONARY

Providing and laying block masonary 150mm thick with good quality blocks in 1:4
(1 cement 4 sand) and as per specification and instruction of Consultant and
Client from approved quality. 85.0 m2
11.0 PLASTERING
Providing and laying smooth Plaster with cement mortar 1:4 on walls,
columns,slabs etc. on straight or curved surfaces including providing and fixing
expanded metal at the junction of structural members and brick/block walls,
making chamfered edges rounding of corners at junctions, plaster stopper metal
corner beads, drip course where required, hacking of RCC surface and curing
including the cost of scaffolding etc. at any height. All work will be carried out as
per specifications and instructions of site Engineer.

12.0 PAINTS
12.1 PALSTIC EMULSION PAINT
Providing and applying three coats of plastic emulsion paint, of required color and
shade to internal walls including preparation of the base by rubbing the surface
with carborandum stone,applying premier coat of "Plastron Premier Sealer" on
the entire surface, filling depressions with putty,cutting the surface and rubbing
smooth finally with sand paper complete as per instruction and specification of 175.0 m²
the consultant and approval of client.
12.2 WEATHER SHIELD

Providing and applying three coats of weather shield paint, of required color and
shade on exterior surfaces including preparation of the base by rubbing the
surface with carborandum stone, filling depressions with putty,cutting the surface
and rubbing smooth finally with sand paper complete as per instruction and
specification of the consultant and approval of client. 200.0 m²

13.0 PVC OR VAPOR BARRIER POLYETHENE SHEET
Providing & Laying PVC or Vapor barrier polyethene sheet (80gm/m²) thick
flooring layed well with all joints heat welded including welding rods,
imported adhesive etc complete in all respect as per drawing and 65.0 m²
specification and as directed by the Engineer Incharge.
13.1 C.S SCREED

Providing & Laying 50mm average thickness C.S Screed in slope (0.30%) with wire
mesh on roof slab complete in all respect as per drawing and specification and as
directed by the Engineer Incharge. 50.0 m²
13.2 BITUMEN COATING ON ROOF SLAB

Providing & Laying Bitumen coating on roof slab using bitumen 10/20 at 20/25
lb/10m² complete in all respect as per drawing and specification and as 50.0 m²
directed by the Engineer Incharge.
13..3 PEA SIZE GRAVEL

Providing & Laying Pea size gravel @ 0.1m³/ 10m² on roof slab complete in all
respect as per drawing and specification and as directed by the Engineer 50.0 m²
Incharge.
14.0 UPVC DRAIN PIPE

Providing & Fixing 4" dia UPVC down take pipe and deep sumps 1'-0"×1'-0"×1" of
approved make including all fittings such as clamps, bends, shoes with
joints filled with cement complete in all respect including painting two coats
with approved paint over a coat of primer to match the colour of the building
as directed by the Engineer Incharge.
4" dia uPVC pipes, 4.0mm thick.

14.1 10 RM
15.0 ALUMINIUM DOORS & GLASS PANEL

Providing, fabricating and fixing in position Glazing 8mm thick ( Fixed Glass) with
bronze anodized aluminium framing as per British standard manufactured by
Lucky, Alcop, Krudson, Pakistan Cables and A.C.P ( fixing through their approved
fabricators ) Box section, double laminated glazed 4mm thick including the
aluminium fittings with all accessories cutting holes etc as per drawings and as
per instruction and specification of the consultant. (shop drawings shall be
provided for the approval of Engineer/Consultant.)
15.2 D2 (3'-0"×7'-0") Aluminum single leaf full glazed door. 9 No. 18375 165,375
15.6 ALUMINIUM WINDOWS & GLASS PANEL
