● What is your stand on each issue? Can you share some solutions to these
problems?

Pollution, illicit mining and logging, deforestation, threats against environmentalists,

dynamite fishing, landslides, coastal erosion, biodiversity loss, extinction, global
warming, and climate change are just a few of the environmental issues the
Philippines is currently facing.

Some options are:

* Switch to reusable items from disposal ones.
* It is best to avoid using paper.
* Save electricity and water.
* Encourage eco-friendly practices.
* Recycling trash can help protect natural resources.

B. KICK-OFF UNDERTAKING: Focused Free Write

● Write a reaction paper on the presented environmental problems in our country and relate
it in your community. What does the government and your community including yourself
do to help solve these problems?

The environment is crucial to maintaining life on Earth. Nonetheless, there are several
problems that are harming both human existence and the earth's ecosystem. It is relevant
to everyone who lives on the earth, not only the environment. In addition, pollution, global
warming, greenhouse gasses, and many other things are its key causes. The environment is
constantly being degraded by human activity, which ultimately leads to the loss of the
ability for life on earth to survive.

Furthermore, addressing these problems will protect not only the environment but also the
planet's ecosystem and life. Following are some methods for reducing environmental
threat:

Reforestation - It will assist in restoring the ecosystem's natural cycles as well as in

maintaining the ecosystem's overall balance. Also, it will aid in groundwater recharging,
preserving the monsoon cycle, reducing the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere,
and many other things.

The 3 R's rule - To help the environment, one should follow the 3 R's rule, which stands for
Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Also, it benefits the environment in a variety of ways.

In conclusion, it can be said that people are a significant cause of environmental problems.
Similarly, we are primarily responsible for the rise in the amount of dangerous gases and
pollutants in the environment. Yet today, many are attempting to solve this issue after
taking it seriously. Above all, this issue may be fought for if all people contribute equally to
the environment. One can reestablish the natural balance.
