NEON NIGHTS BAR CLUB

-----------------------------HOUSE RULES & STANDARD OPERATION PROCEEDURE-----------------------------

VERSION 1

JANUARY 20, 2023

PREPARATION FOR DUTY

All entertainers are required to attend to duty on-time according to their schedule.

Definitely make up and uniform preparation will take estimated 30 minutes time. Considering that all
entertainers can attend to duty once they are fully ready with uniform and make up on, you have to
attend 30 minutes prior to your schedule, and time in without uniform and make up is strictly
prohibited.

Proper make up, perfume and clean uniform is a must and managers and supervisors are allowed to
stop you from duty if your attire is not approved for them for any reason.

TIME IN, BREAK TIME AND TIME OUT

All entertainers should be registered in FINGER PRINT MACHINE for time records and it’s your
responsibility to record your attendance (time in & time out) via FINGER PRINT MACHINE, otherwise
you will be considered as absent.

Failure to TIME IN and/or TIME OUT will cause you a violation due to absenteeism even if you were on
duty.

Aside from finger print machine, a selfie picture beside finger print machine UPON TIME IN & TIME OUT
is a must. Take note that picture must be clear and individual and it has to be shared in telegram group
chat.

Break time in and break time out shall be recorded in telegram group chat and you are required to
follow your schedule for the said matter. Any breaktime out of schedule is strictly prohibited.
Furthermore prior to break time and time out, verbal approval of manager is needed any breaktime out
or time out without manager approval will cause a violation for you.

Aside from the finger print machine, filling up the manual DTR FORM is mandated to avoid of any issues
due to finger print machine error.

NOTE: All entertainers are strictly required to pass through body check upon entrance and exit (even
during break time). Full body check and checkup of all belongings is mandated and if security team
members are not in position, you are not allowed to enter or exit.
BRACELET

you must receive your BRACELET prior to duty and you have to double the QUANTITY ‘’ONE BY ONE’’ to
make sure that the quantity complete and any missing or defective bracelet shall be reported to
manager in charge prior to duty. Otherwise, you are accountable for the said matter.

After double checking, you can sign the record provided by manager.

During operation, if any bracelet got damaged, it has to be reported to manager right away and any
failure for any reason will cause you a serious sanction.

In case if your bracelet is finished during operation, you should request a new batch of bracelet from
manager and make sure that you will count them same as your first bracelet batch (20pcs per batch).

At the end of your duty, you should count the bracelet prior to turn over the them to manager to make
sure all the remaining bracelet are in tag without any missing.

Upon turn overing the bracelet to manager, your signature in manager report will be your last step.

OS PREPARATION UPON CUSTOMERS ORDER

We believe that you are aware of importance of OS. Accordingly, please pay full attention during
preparation of OS.

All portion such as date, server name, time, table number, qty, item description, unit cost and total shall
be filed correctly.

This is servers’ responsibility to present the yellow copy of OS to bartender, shisha room and kitchen.
However, in case of availability of utility personnel, you may ask their help to run the order as soon as
possible but presentation of order on customer table only and only should be done by server and its
very important matter.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

Left bills: To avoid of any unnecessary commotion due to unpaid or left bills, please try to review your
customer always and if you noticed that your customer might not be able to pay high amount of bill, its
highly recommended to submit the total bill once customer total bill is already around 10,000php.

For this matter, once you noticed that customer ordering too much but he/she might not be able to
settle the bill, please inform the supervisor to monitor their bill and coordinate properly in the said
matter. You may ask customer in a politely manner that we have bill cut off every 10,000php.

Take note that 10,000php bill cut off is a case-to-case basis and not for all customers.
Marshals’ teamwork: Please be aware that if you noticed any suspicious situation or customer such as
possible fight, drug involve, rubbery and etc., you have to inform your area marshal and supervisor right
away.

In case if for any situations, marshals are already involved, you are not allowed to talk to customer
anymore and let the marshals to handle the situation.

Song request: we are not accepting song request, in special cases for big spender customers, only by
approval of manager, only 1 song request can be accepted.

Add-on’s: the best way to increase the sales is recommending some of best seller items to customer
upon their order such as shisha, pizza, fruit platter and etc. you are mandated to offer at least 2 items
to customer upon their order and this matter will monitored through mystery shopper.

Customer complain about order delayed or quality: since our customers might be drunk, their patience
might be limited and its highly recommended to prepare the order within few minutes.

Standard time frame for bar items serving is maximum of 7minutes and for food serving is maximum of
15 minutes. However, upon food ordering, you should inform customers that it might take around 20-25
minutes time, but in fact you have to serve the food within 15 minutes.

Order serving: preparation of necessary items such as tissue, ashtray, plates, spoon and fork according
to order is really important and your attention to details in this case is needed.

Please pay attention to customer table and try to keep it clean all the time.

It’s helpful if you can recommend something to customer to add to their order during their meal.

Customer health issue: if you noticed that your customer needs an emergency first aid, please right
away inform the area marshal and supervisor.

CO-WORKERS NEGLECT OF DUTY

one of the most important responsibilities for any employee is to protect the company against any issue
that might be cause of some losses. Those issues sometimes might be cause of other employee’s
activities and you are strongly mandated to report any co-workers’ activities that might be against
company goal and safety such as rubbery, exchange contact number or social media with customer,
manipulating information’s, sharing company confidential information’s, sharing rumors, misusing
company assets, taking advantage of their situation and position, personal use of company assets,
misleading other co-workers and/or customers, co-workers relationship and any issue that might not
be approved by managements.

There is a particular contact number for those reports and all information’s will stay in highest level of
confidentially. Once again, it’s your responsibility to report those kinds of activities right away directly
through the mentioned contact number.
In special cases, security team is allowed to stop the employee from exit and wait for operation
manager approval.

BOTTLE RESERVATION

we would like to remind you the previous memorandum of BOTTLE RESERVATION

Which stated that customers can reserve their left-over bottle for a period of one months and
reservation can be accepted if there is more than 20% left over in the bottle.

There is a bottle reservation form and for the sake of record, customer has to fill it up. With regards to
this matter, you may call attention of floor manager.

In additional, Bottle reservation cannot be applied for beers.

Bottle left over: please be advised that all left over bottles and beer (if they were not reserved by
customer) shall be turn over to manager.

There is a particular box for the said matter and all left over bottles must be placed there.

Exchange contact number

as part of company policy, it’s necessary to highlight this matter that the employees are not allowed to
exchange contact number and/or social media for any reason. This case will fall in TRUST ISUUE
CATEGORY and dismissal of duty will be the sanction.

TABLE PRESENTATION AND PREPARATION

there are different table capacity and location and its really important to pay attention to number of
guests and table capacity upon allocation of guest on the table.

Tables has to be filled up according to manager instructions on dance floor.

Another important topic that you should pay attention to that is changing table. it happening that due to
any reason, customer might change their table. So, you have to inform the cashier that customer has
changed the table from table number A to table number B and in the same time, you should inform the
other server that is in charge of the new table if customer paid the bill or not. Because changing table is
one of the reasons that might end up to unpaid and left bill.

SOCIAL MEDIA SUPPORT


as part of co-worker’s participation in companies marketing activity, its necessary for all employees to
follow all companies’ social media accounts. We have daily post in Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and
Tik Tok and you are mandated to like and comments on the daily posts.

Marketing team will be monitoring your daily comments and random inspection will be conducted by
marketing representative to make sure that you already liked and comments on all of our daily posts in
all social media.

Second topic related to marketing participation is our photo and video shooting. Our social media
content creators will conduct video shooting and you are required to follow their instructions and
coordinate with them to create contents for our social media.

OFFICIAL RECEIPT

Please take note that we have OFFICIAL RECEIPT (OR) and you have to ask cashier to prepare OR upon
customer request.

CENTRALIZED TIP BOX

please take note that for the sake of fairness, to share the blessing between all employees, you are
mandated to put the received tip amount in tip box. Manager in charge will distribute the tip between
the employees in an equal share to make sure that even those employees that are not directly
contacting the customers such as kitchen staff or utilities, will enjoy the blessing. Furthermore, any
failure to put the tip in tip box for any reason will be entitled of dismissal of duty since its in-dishonesty
category.

NOTE: for the sake of transparency, you should not put the tip in your pocket and it has to be dropped in
tip box as soon as possible.

In additional to that, we would like to inform you that tip giving is not mandatory for customers. No one
is allowed to ask for tip and this matter will be monitored and if management find out that anyone in
company requesting (verbally or via body language) from customer (even if customer is your friend)
dismissal of duty and 25,000php penalty due to damaging the company reputation would be the
sanction of this issue

LOST AND FOUND

we are not responsible for customer belonging and please advise the customer to take care of their
belongings if needed. However, since customer satisfaction is matter, in special cases you may ask your
area marshals to pay attention.

Any found item must not be even touched without presence of your area marshal.

In case if you found any item, first step is to call your area marshal to record video and submit it to
manager asap.
With regards to that, any request for CCTV review automatically will be disapproved and if needed in the
next days, in head office, cctv footage will be reviewed and no one can have access to cctv without head
office approval (approval might take 1 to 7 days depend on the type of issue).

On the house (OTH) and discount: please be advised that any OTH will be disapproved except DJ & MC
with a limited amount. Any discount without operation manager approval (signature on the OS) will
charged on server.

OPERATION ASSETS

All sound system including entire DJ booth, all lighting, air-conditions, TV, kitchen and bar equipment’s
must not be touched by any employee for any reason and in case if any adjustment is needed, you
should inform the manager to do it by himself. This matter will be strictly monitored.

CONSUMABLE TABLE

there might be a set up for table with consumable price. With regards to that, customer can sit on table
and start ordering. in the beginning, you must issue an OS for table cost and ask customer signature.
Upon bill out, if the total consumption amount is higher than the agreed amount on the beginning for
table price, customer should pay the bill. But if the total consumption is lower than the agreed amount
on the table price, customer should pay for the agreed table price.

During the operation, once customer start ordering, you must issue separate OS for orders and the first
OS that has been issues for table price must be submitted to cashier separately.

Take note that the table price will be entitled for service charge.

Sample computation:

 If customer consumption is lower than the table price:

Table price: 5,000php

Total customer consumption including to service charge: 4,000php

Total bill out: 5,000php + 10% service charge =5,500php

 If customer consumption is higher than the table price:

Table price: 5,000php

Total customer consumption including to service charge: 7,000php

Total bill out: 7,000php


GENERAL CLEANING

we will be conducting a general deep cleaning twice a week.

Schedule for general deep cleaning will be announced in the announcement board and all servers are
required to participate in the said matter.

TEQUILA GIRLS

Since tequila girls are walking around the area and they are not handling OS, its server’s responsibility to
provide and prepare the order slip upon tequila girls’ request.

According to our experience, it’s easy to forget the issuance of order slip and by that, order will be left
without payments. Please pay a serious attention to tequila girls request and present it right away
without any delay.

BILLIARD

Playing billiards has 2 options; per-hour and per-game.

We will charge our guest/players amount of ₱550 +10% Service Charge for 60 minutes time. Please take
note that OS shall be signed by customer prior to starting each game.

While on the other hand if they want per-game we will charge them amount of ₱100 +10% Service
Charge with maximum of 10 minutes. they need to finish their game on or before the said time
otherwise, we will charge again the same amount and set time again.

BEERPONG

Playing beer pong price is ₱1150 + 10% Service Charge with 15 minutes time including 1 bucket of local
beers or ₱1350 + 10% Service Charge same time duration for 1 bucket of premium beers. For the Order
Slip you need to issue them every game and let the customer sign on it.

DAMAGED ASSETS BY CUSTOMER

Please take note that if customers damaged any of company’s assets, you should inform the operation
manager right away and operation manager will make decision about the cost of damages which shall be
paid by customer.

EVALUATION

all servers will go under evaluation exam which will be conducted within few days from submission of
this guide line.
Evaluation exam will be conducted in written and verbal questioner and SERVERS SOP, COMPANY
HANDBOOK & MENU are references and sources of this exam. As a rule, those employees that couldn’t
pass the exam, won’t be able to get their contract renewed.

NOTE: please be advised that you are mandated to follow all instruction in this guideline carefully with
highest possible attention to details. Any failure in the said topics, will cause a serious disciplinary action.
And in other hand, all your efforts will be appreciated.

SUMMARY OF LATEST MEMORANDUM:

 Any absenteeism, tardiness, undertime or change rest day without written letter with approval
will end up to a disciplinary action.
 If you don’t record your attendance in FINGER PRINT MACHINE and TELEGRAM GROUP CAHT,
you will be considered absent and not only you won’t have salary for that day, but also you will
receive a NOTICE TO EXPLAIN.
 All request, concern and suggestions will be considered only in written forms and all verbal and
text messages automatically will be invalid and disregarded.
 Late submission of DTR will be considered on the next payroll and any excuses will be
disregarded.
 The change bill of customer after payment shall be returned in full and as soon as possible.
Otherwise, it might be considered as an intentional dishonesty case.
 After submission of OS to cashier, servers are not allowed to get it back from cashier and any
necessary changes in OS required manager signature.

STRICTLY PROHABITED:

 Any extra or hidden charges to customer is strictly prohibited.


 Relationship with co-workers is strictly prohibited.
 Attending to any commercial space that can be considered as our competitor for any reason.
 Entering or exiting from establishment without body check.
 Any activity that might affect on inventory without your manager confirmation.
 Use of office address (In publishing articles or otherwise giving public expression of personal
opinions on any subject, employees should refrain from using the office as their address.)
 Visitors (Receiving private visitors during office hours for reasons not connected with the
business of the Company should be minimized if not avoided entirely.)
 Resigned or terminated employees are not allowed to enter the bar premises.
 Confidential Information (The confidential nature of the relationship between the Company
and its clients is a basic principle of our business. Every employee should, therefore, keep in
strict confidence whatever information may be acquired concerning the affairs of the
Company.)
Type and List of Offense

A. AGAINST COMPANY INTEREST

1. Absence Without Official Leave (AWOL)

AWOL is committed when an employee absents himself without prior approval or


permission from his department manager or his assigned deputy; or when the employee
fails to notify his department manager or his assigned deputy through written/signed
note, telegram or telephone, of the reason for the absence within the day the absence is
incurred, in case of emergencies and sickness; failure to report back for work after an
approved leave.

1st Offense - Final written warning

2nd Offense - 3 days suspension

3rd Offense Dismissal

Three (3) cases of AWOL within any twelve-month period is Dismissal.

Violation of AWOL may also result to abandonment of work due to absence without
permission.

2. Tardiness

Being late for more than on at least FIVE (5) TIMES within a calendar month or an
accumulated of 120 minutes late within the calendar month.

1st offense - Final Written Warning

2nd offense - 3 days Suspension

3rd offense - Dismissal

In any occasion, a corresponding salary deduction will be made against the employee
who is late. The number of minutes an employee is late is counted from the start of
his/her shift up to the time he/ she punches/logs in his time of arrival at the office/resto
bar.

3. Leaving Without Permission

Leaving work assignment and the company premises during working hours without the
permission of his department manager or his assigned deputy.

1st offense - Final written warning

2nd offense - 3 days suspension

3rd offense - Dismissal

4. Malingering

Taking a sick leave when not actually ill.

1st offense - 3 days suspension

2nd offense - 7 days suspension

3rd offense - Dismissal

5. Wasting Time or Loitering

Being in an area where the employee has no legitimate business or taking more than the
normal time for break time or lunch break.

1st offense - Final Written Warning

2nd Offense - 3 days Suspension

3rd offense - Dismissal

6. Sleeping during working time

1st offense - Final Written Warning

2nd offense - 3 days Suspension

3rd offense - Dismissal


7. Falsification of time cards or punching in another employee’s time card.

1st offense - Dismissal

8. Failure to punch/ accomplish time card/record as required

Shall be considered and marked as ABSENT.

9. Reporting for work without the prescribed work uniform

1st offense - Final Written Warning

2nd offense - 3 days Suspension

3rd offense - Dismissal

10. Deliberate destruction, mutilation, alteration and concealment of his or another


employee’s ID card.

1st offense - Dismissal

11. Failure to immediately report to his/her superiors within the day, personal injury to one’s
self or to another, or loss or damage to company property or to customer’s property
under the employee’s accountability or vehicular traffic accident. Failure to report as
soon as the practicable lost or damaged to company property.

1st offense - Final Written Warning

2nd offense - 3 days suspension

3rd offense - Dismissal


12. Insubordination
Failure to carry out reasonable oral or written instructions of his/her supervisor.

1st offense - Final Written Warning

2nd offense - 3 days Suspension

3rd offense - Dismissal

13. Willful refusal or willful neglect to carry out reasonable oral or written instructions of
his/her supervisor.

1st offense - Final Written Warning

2nd offense - 3 Days Suspension

3rd offense - Dismissal

14. Unauthorized lending, possession, operation and/ or misuse of company equipment,


vehicles, keys or materials.

1st offense - 3 days suspension

2nd offense - 7 days suspension

3rd offense - Dismissal

15. Misrepresentation of any personal document or any record for employment.

1st offense - Dismissal

16. Falsification and/or misrepresentation of company records, expense claims and similar
documents.

1st offense - Dismissal

17. Giving false testimony during company investigation, court hearing and other
investigation by any government agency or body.

1st offense - Dismissal


18. Offering or accepting anything of value in exchange for personal gain against company
interest.
1st offense - Dismissal
19. Robbing, stealing, pilferage of company property regardless of value or amount, or
substituting the same for inferior quality.
1st offense - Dismissal

20. Defalcation of company property and funds.


1st offense - Dismissal

21. Sabotage of company property or equipment. and misplacing of company records.

1st offense - Dismissal

22. Willful destruction of company property or materials.

1st offense - Dismissal

23. Any act of fraud on the procurement of materials, equipment and supplies.

1st offense - Dismissal

24. Favoring suppliers, creditors or clients for personal or monetary consideration.


1st offense - Dismissal

25. Failure to fulfill duty, willful neglect of duty or deliberately reducing production by willful
holding back, slowing down, hindering or limiting production or stoppage of production causing
loss to Company.

1st offense - Dismissal

26. Encouraging, coercing, inciting or otherwise inducing any employee to engage in any
practice in violation of the company’s work rules.

1st offense - Dismissal

27. Infidelity in the custody of papers, records and other company properties.

1st offense - Dismissal


28. Unauthorized revelation, possession or reproduction of confidential information.
1st offense - Dismissal
29. Abuse of authority resulting to loss or damage to company property.
1st offense - Dismissal

30. Engaging in activities during or outside work hours which are competitive with the
business of the company and/or which may prevent such employee from fully discharging his
duties and obligations to the company.

1st offense - Dismissal

31. Instigating or making false or malicious statement about any employee or company or its
product.
1st offense - Dismissal

32. Moonlighting and/or engaging in unauthorized competitive transactions or the same line
of business.

1st offense - Dismissal

33. Causing material wastage due to carelessness or covering up or to cover up defective


workmanship

1st offense - Dismissal

B. AGAINST PERSON

1. Disorderly Conduct

This includes gambling, quarrelling, horseplaying, threatening, intimidating, coercing,


bullying, abusing and provoking other employees, creating or contributing to a
disturbance, or otherwise engaging in scandalous behavior and other similar activities
within the company premises during working and non- working hours or during
authorized company functions or while on official business outside the company premises.

1st offense - Dismissal


2. Physical assault against another person, fist fighting, brawling within company or
customer’s premises.

1st offense - Dismissal

1. Abuse to one’s authority or improper use of influence, power or authority of an


individual against another colleague or group of colleague. This includes misuse of
power that create a hostile or offensive work environment which includes but not
limited to the use of intimidation, threat, blackmail or coercion.

1st offense - Dismissal

C. AGAINST PUBLIC MORAL

1. Drinking Alcohol
This consists of reporting to work under the influence of alcohol or drinking the same
inside the company premises or during company functions, unless authorized.

1st offense - Dismissal

2. Indulging in Prohibited Drugs


Possession of, using/taking prohibited drugs, trafficking or reporting for work under the
influence of drugs

1st offense - Dismissal

3. Conduct of grossly indecent nature or using profane language in addressing another


person within the company premises or while on official business.

1st offense - Dismissal

4. Causing ill-will and/or dissension, fomenting intrigues or dissemination of false


information among employees; or committing malicious slander against a co-employee.

1st offense - Dismissal

5. Sexual Harassment
Making sexual advances or request for sexual favours, or other verbal or physical conduct
(of sexual nature) to any employee, customer or any business associate.

1st offense - Dismissal

D. AGAINST SAFETY, SECURITY AND PUBLIC ORDER

1. Refusal to submit or failure to meet auditing, security or safety requirements of the


company.

1st offense - Dismissal

2. Force entry into the company office or premises after office hours without necessary
overtime work authorization or permission

1st offense - Dismissal

3. Staying or waiting within the company’s operational areas after working hours without
the proper authorization of the Department Manager or his assigned deputy.

1st offense - Final Written Warning

2nd offense - 3 days Suspension

3rd offense - Dismissal

4. Collecting contributions for any purpose from anybody within company premises
without authority from HRD.
1st offense - Final written warning

2nd offense - 3 days Suspension

3rd offense - Dismissal

5. Possession of firearms, explosives including firecrackers and pyrotechnics, deadly


weapons such as knives, ice picks, bolos, bow and arrow, etc within the company and/ or
customer’s compound/premises.

1st offense - Dismissal


6. Conviction of any crime.

1st offense - Dismissal

7. Inciting or participating in riots, disorders, illegal strikes or similar actions detrimental


to company’s interest.

1st offense - Dismissal

8. Holding of unauthorized meetings during company time on company premises.

1st offense - Final written warning

2nd offense - 3 days suspension

3rd offense - Dismissal

9. Failure to observe safety and security rules resulting to fire within the company or
customer’s property.

1st offense - Dismissal

10. Disseminating wrong or false information which threatens and endangers the safety
of employee, visitors, clients and guests like false bomb threat.

1st offense - Dismissal

11. Creating or contributing to unsanitary or unsafe conditions e.g. spitting, urinating,


littering.

1st offense - Final written warning

2nd offense - 3 days suspension

3rd offense - Dismissal
