    RENEWAL(Already registered students renewing in same course for subsequent year/ Renewing in
    new course) & FRESH (New Registration) application of Post-Matric scholarship for eligible ST and SC
    students studying inside /outside state for the year 2022-23 is being invited in ODISHA STATE
    SCHOLARSHIP PORTAL. Like previous year, NEW ID will be generated based on the AADHAAR
    authentication through OTP. All eligible students are therefore, requested to apply/renew for Post-
    Matric Scholarship by visiting URL http://www.scholarship.odisha.gov.in .

    Eligibility Criteria for Post Matric Scholarship Scheme: -


    ➢ Student shall belong to ST/SC community and should be a permanent resident of Odisha.
    ➢ The students should continue their Post Matriculation Studies in any general/technical or
    professional courses in any Govt. or Govt. recognized Private institutes.
    ➢ The annual family income of the parent/guardians from all sources should not exceed Rs.2,50,000/-
    per annum.
    Scheduled Time line for Online Application
    SI. Activities Renewal & Fresh
    1 Opening Date of Online Applications for students 10.08.2022
    2 Closing date for submission of Online Applications by students. 31.10.2022
    3 Last date for scrutiny & forwarding of Online Applications by Institutes. 30.11.2022
    4 Last date for online sanction of Applications by the DWO concerned. 31.12.2022

    NB.:- (i) Aadhaar is made mandatory for availing Scholarship. Please provide correct Aadhaar number of self
    in the Online Application Form. In case it is found that Aadhaar number provided by the student is wrong or is
    not his/her, the application is liable to be rejected. .(RefiDept Notification No:10744 dt26.06.2019)

    (ii) Applicants have to be very careful while furnishing their Bank Account information in the specified box of the
    Online Application. Any wrong entry or mismatch in case of Bank information, the Department will not be held
    responsible for mis-credit and the applicant will be held responsible in case of diversion of public money on this ground.

    Candidates belonging to both INSIDE STATE and OUTSIDE STATE categories shall follow the
    instructions given below:
    o Students are advised to visit the URL given above and click on HOW TO APPLY button to know the
    complete procedure of Online Registration in Odisha State Scholarship Portal.
    o As the ID would be generated on OTP based Aadhar authentication, students are advised to ensure
    that their Aadhar is linked with an operational mobile number in order to receive OTP and to provide
    the,same in scholarship portal for successful registration.
    o Basic details i.e. Name, Gender, DOB will be fetched from the AADHAR and will be non-editable.
    Therefore, before applying, students are advised to ensure that these details are correct in their
    AADHAR (including spelling of the name & surname).
    o All renewal students (Both Renew in the new course/renew in the same course) are advised to click
    on "VERIFY" button showing against AADHAAR mandatorily in their basic profile page. An OTP will
    be sent to the mobile number registered in AADHAAR. After entering OTP, if any changes/ updation
    made in AADHAAR (ex: any changes in name/DOB/Gender), the same will be replaced in the portal.
    o As per Govt. of India stipulations, only Aadhaar based payments will be allowed under the Scheme
    hereinafter. Therefore, applicants must ensure that they have a bank account seeded with the Aadhar
    number mentioned in the application and provide the same account details in their application. To
    link bank account with Aadhaar number, please visit you bank branch and submit a "Bank consent
    form for receiving DBT". You can check which bank is linked to your Aadhaar number on NPCI
    mapper by visiting https://resident.uidai.gov.in/bank-mapper.
    o Students and institutions are advised not to submit hard copy of application and other required
    documents to concerned institution and DWOs respectively. Therefore, at the time of filling details of
    income, caste, matric roll no, bank accounts etc., students are requested to fill it cautiously and
    upload correct, valid & legible certificates in the portal. Any mismatch found during scrutiny process
    at institution/DWO level, the concerned student may lead to rejection of application. However, in
    case of any requirement, DWO may seek hard-copies of application and other required documents.
    o Students who are applying for the first time or renewing in new course need to obtain caste and
    income certificate through e-district portal of Odisha preferably for auto-authentication.
    o Students who have already completed the course being pursued in previous year and renewing their
    application in a new course are required to add the details of the same in Educational Qualification
    Details section of their on-line application.
    o Students must provide an operative, active & unique mobile number (preferably a WhatsApp linked
    number) to receive important messages regarding application status. As per GoI stipulation, one
    mobile number can be used against only one application.
    o Students are hereby requested to keep their Unique ID & Password confidential. In case of any mis-
    credit/manipulation happens due to sharing of user id & password with others, student will be solely
    held responsible.
    o Institutes/DWOs are instructed to process the online application within 7 days of receipt of
    application in their login and forward the same to next level for further action without waiting till
    last date of application/ processing.
