    PRINCIPLE:
    This assay is perfomred on Rotogene Real-time fluorescent qualitative detection system based on the principle of real-time PCR followed
    by RT-PCR. An internal oligonucleotide, which is contained in the same reaction mixture labeled with a 5'reporter dye and a downstream 3'
    Quencher dye. Hybridizes to a target sequence with in the PCR Product. The reporter dye and quencher dye are separated upon cleavage,
    resulting in an increase in the fluorescence signals for the reporter. Thus, the increase in fluorescence is directly proportional to the target
    amplification during PCR.

    COMMENTS:
    1- The test was performed on automated extraction system and amplification is performed on RotorGene Q Real-time PCR analyzer.
    2- The viral titres may fluctuate therefore a single negative SARS-COV- Corona Virus RT-PCR test should not be used to rule out infection
    3- Correlation of results with clinical features and other laboratory finding is highly recommended
