Our quotation is based on an estimated volume of 100 cuft. Should the actual
volume differ then an adjustment to the final charge may be made.

Cooling-off Period
As a consumer, you have certain rights to cancel this contract with us if the agreement between us has been finalised in a particular
way. If we have agreed the contact for removals away from our own premises (for example, at your house) or over the telephone or
by email (without having been to your house first), you have the right to cancel the contact within 14 days. This is known as a
cooling-off period. However, if you want us to schedule the removals date within the 14-day period, you would need to forego this
cooling-period. If the above exception is applicable to this removal, we will highlight this to you, and also ask you to tick the box on
the ‘acceptance of quotation’ form to confirm your request to have the removal carried out within the 14-day period.
Important information about your Quote
Also enclosed / attached are the contract terms and conditions under which all work will be carried out. It is essential that you read
and understand these before signing the contract. Your attention is particularly drawn to Clauses 3, 6, and 8 to 11 of the contract
terms which set out our liability to you for loss of or damage to goods and property. Please also check the contract Conditions
attached to this quotation for details of any cancellation charges.
Provisional Bookings
Please note provisional bookings need to be confirmed by receipt of our Acceptance Form and full payment at least five working
days prior to your moving date. Confirmed bookings are taken on a first come first served basis.

Access/Parking
It is the customers’ responsibility to arrange parking for our vehicles. If this is not arranged, any penalties or associated costs
incurred will be payable by the customer. Should there be any difficulty in our vehicle gaining access to the new property please
let us know in advance. This allows us to inform you of any additional charges to cover the length of the removal and/or any
additional small vehicles to transfer effects. It is important that you check access at your new address, as our quotation allows for
standard access only.
What is not covered in this Quotation?
This Quote covers everything we understand you wish to move with us, from information taken by our estimator. Should anything
require moving which was excluded from our initial survey on your instruction, we may have to include a handling charge in
excess of this quotation.
Insurance
We can arrange insurance to cover your goods against all risks of physical loss or damage whilst in transit and storage. The Terms
and Condions are detailed in the enclosed Summary of Insurance. the premium for this insurance covers your goods up to a
maximum value of £50,000. Cover above £50,000 is available upon request and payment of an additional premium. If a value is
not declared and an acceptance is not completed/signed by you then our contract with you shall be bound by our terms and
conditions only, limiting our liability to £40 per item

removal companies within the BAR.
•The Code is approved by Trading Standards InsFtute (TSI)
•The Code sets out the standards that all BAR members must meet in respect of customer service, fair trading, adverFsing and

•Compliance with the Code is mandatory upon all members of BAR. Its purpose is to maintain and, where necessary, raise
standards of practice to ensure that our customers receive the most efficient and trouble-free move possible.
