The American University of Antigua (AUA) College of Medicine has held steadfast to its principles of
delivering medical education of the highest quality since 2004. As a leading medical school, we stand

OUR MD PROGRAM American University of Antigua College of Medicine is the perfect
choice for Indian students with a passion for medicine. More than
3000 AUA alumni are currently in residency or practicing
EDUCATING throughout the USA, UK and Canada.
Students may complete their 2-year Pre-med program at Manipal
TOMORROW’S Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal or in AICASA
(American International College of Arts and Sciences) in Antigua.
PHYSICIANS Qualified students who complete premedical coursework are
guaranteed acceptance into the MD program at AUA.

10-1 student-to-faculty ratio for academic period 1 and lecture caps at 100 students ensure methods of instruction are
adjusted to suit individual learning styles.
Homerooms are 24/7, personalized study spaces where a small group of 10 students participate in team and case-based
learning.

LIBRARY & FACILITIES


Our 800-seat multi-story library, open 24/7, offers an extensive selection of medical journals.
Small group rooms and individual sectionals are available for private study.
Our Educational Enhancement Department is available for tutoring, mentorship, study skills, and time management.
Other technologies include Echo360 Lecture Capture and Blackboard Learn.
LABS
The Anatomy Lab includes plastinated body part, specimens and cadavers.
The Osler Suites, simulated doctors’ offices, allows students to interact with patients and refine their bedside manner.
The Clinical Skills Lab allows students to gain experience in patient care.

collaboration with its one-of-a-kind collaboration with Florida International University (FIU):
• Graduate Clinical Core Rotation Certificate Program
• Global Health Track

Warwick Medical School, UK


AUA signed its first-ever transfer agreement with the University of Warwick Medical School, UK.AUA is
the only medical school in the Caribbean with this prestigious agreement. High achieving students can
transfer to Warwick and complete their medical degree there after completing their basic sciences at
AUA College of Medicine.
