APPLICATION NO. 1
• Development is the growth and progress that something experiences. It also has
to do with growing older through experiences.
2. Describe your own development. In what ways have you changed over your
lifetime? What characteristics have remained the same?
Physical development – the physical changes that the body experiences such as
increase in height, weight, and internal organ size to which these changes do not
come in the same pace and rate for everyone. When it comes to education, this
principle allows the child to learn through doing whatever he wishes to in order to
fully grasp what the mentor wanted to relay and perfom according to the
assigned tasks.
• The traditional approach places a strong emphasis on the significant change that
occurs from infancy to adolescence, little or no change in maturity, and decrease
in late old life. The life-span approach places special emphasis on how people
develop both as children and as adults
APPLICATION NO. 2
A. If you were given a chance, which developmental stage would you like to be
in? Why?
• If I given the choice, I would prefer to remain in late childhood, being in this
developmental stage where I can do whatever I want and I can feel a pace.
because the duties, responsibilities, and issues are hard to handle if your an adult
enough and it always give us a problem and stress. I want to be a kid because kids
always a happy.
• I think that through time, I gain the ability to live independently, make
decisions, and have control over my life.
My mother taught me to walk when I was a year old, despite the fact that I
occasionally fell down, she also taught me how to say "mama" and "papa," and
she taught me everything she could. My mother then attempted to enroll me in
school as a toddler when I was three years old. I was quite shy on the first day of
school. However, my mother is still there to help me. I then begin to introduce
myself to my teacher and classmates. After a few months, I discovered many
things, I already know how to paint, write my name, and other things. My teacher
once informs us that she would be giving an exam the following day. My mother
then threatened to buy me my favorite food if I worked hard to study and
received the highest grade. I did so, and as a result, I received the highest grade.
She then gave me my favorite dinner as she had promised.
I started second grade when I was seven years old. Making wise decisions
requires a lifetime of practice. For me, it started with making simple decisions
when I was young. Which shirt would you want to wear? What beverage would
you like? My preferences were respected. My mother did not decide what to
wear when I chose a blouse that was egregiously out of style with my pants. This
gave my early choices significant weight, despite the fact that I had poor fashion
sense.
