A cloud service provider is a third-party company offering a cloud-based platform,
infrastructure, application or storage services. Much like a homeowner would pay for a utility such as electricity or gas, companies typically must pay only for the amount of cloud services they use, as business demands require.

Platform-as-a-service (PaaS) is a form of cloud computing where an application software platform is provided by another party. Primarily for developers and programmers, a PaaS allows the user to develop, run, and manage their own apps without having to build and maintain the infrastructure or platform usually associated with the process.

But, before adopting cloud technology, you should be aware that you will be sending all your organization's sensitive information to a third party, i.e., a cloud computing service provider. While sending the data on the cloud, there may be a chance that your organization's information is hacked by Hackers.
