    PRODUCT SPECIFICATION BULLETIN

    DECLARATION OF CONFORMANCE

    FORGED FITTINGS, SOCKET-WELDING and THREADED - ASME B16.11

    The ASME B16.11 products manufactured by Capitol Manufacturing and Phoenix Forging Company
    conform to the requirements of the latest edition of ASME B16.11, Forged Fittings, Socket-Welding and
    Threaded. The raw material used to produce these fittings conforms to the requirements of the latest
    edition of ASTM/ASME A/SA105 Standard Specification for Carbon Steel Forgings for Piping
    Applications. Or, ASTM/ASME A/SA182 Standard Specification for Forged or Rolled Alloy and Stainless
    Steel Pipe Flanges, Forged Fittings, and Valves and Parts for High-Temperature Service .

    These products conform to the applicable metallurgical and the maximum hardness requirements of
    Rockwell C22 as specified in the latest edition of NACE MR0175/ISO15156 and NACE MR0103. These
    products conform to the applicable requirements of the latest editions of CSA-B51, ASME B31.1, B31.3,
    B31.8, and ASME Section VIII, Division 1 and 2 of the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Codes.

    The threads of these forged fittings conform to the latest edition of the ASME B1.20.1 NPT General
    Purpose Pipe Thread Standard as specified by ASME B16.11. The standard surface finish of
    ASTM/ASME A/SA105 forged fittings is cleaned and black phosphate conversion coated. The standard
    finish for ASTM/ASME A/SA182 forged fittings is pickled and passivated in accordance with the latest
    edition of ASTM A380 Standard Practice for Cleaning and Descaling Stainless Steel Parts, Equipment,
    and Systems. These products contain less than 0.25% lead conforming to the low lead maximum limits
    specified by the Safe Drinking Water Act of 2014, NSF/ANSI 61 and NSF/ANSI 372. These products
    were not exposed to mercury or any other metal alloy that is liquid at ambient temperatures during
    processing or while in our possession.

    These products are manufactured in accordance with the latest edition of Capitol Manufacturing or
    Phoenix Forging Company Quality Management System Program conforming to the requirements of ISO
    9001:2015. Capitol Manufacturing or Phoenix Forging Company brand forged fittings are manufactured
    and inspected in the United States of America.
