Exploring Loch Lomond
without a car is easy and
removes the stress of getting
stuck in traffic or having to
find a parking space. We
have put together some fun
options on how to explore
Loch Lomond minus a car.
LOCH LOMOND
A great way to explore by bike
is to use the West Loch
Lomond Cycle Path. The route
between Balloch and Tarbet is
mainly off road and flat and
the scenery is breathtaking. It
is approx. 17 miles but offers
shorter sections where you
can enjoy scenic viewpoints
and small beaches which are
ideal for a picnic and a paddle.
LOCH LOMOND
Duck Bay Marina is a good
place to spot the fishing stick
men statues on the pier or the
people on their paddleboards.
After a short time on the cycle
path after Duck Bay Marina
you will pass The Carrick Golf
Club and Loch Lomond Golf
Club where you may spot a
famous face on their way to
use these prestigious courses.
