    A pleasant afternoon to all of you!

    Foremost, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for


    PBGEN EDGAR ALLAN O OKUBO, Acting Director of
    PNP SAF, for visiting and sharing us the significance of
    the Revitalized Pulis Sa Barangay program.

    To the our DRDO, PCOL ROGELIO Z


    RAYMUNDO, JR; Provincial Directors, Chiefs of Police,
    virtual attendees; ladies and gentlemen, a pleasant
    morning to all of you!

    Indeed, Region XII is one of the regions of this


    country that is facing the problem of insurgency with the
    Communist-Terrorist Groups (CTGs) which give havoc
    to the community.

    This PRO is persistent in expanding our effort to our


    Geographically Isolated and Deprived Areas (GIDAs) to

    avoid possible recruitment and tamper the Communist
    Terrorist Groups influence.

    In line with this, this PRO had adopted the creation


    of Pulis Sa Barangay Team as the action plan of this
    office to address the insurgency problem in the country.
    We believed in the vital role of our PSB Team as the
    missing link in breaking the never-ending cycle of the
    AFP-CSP.

    The Revitalized Pulis Sa Barangay Team will serve


    as a basic and strong force in preventing the influence of
    Communist Terrorist Groups and to bridge the gap in
    our law enforcement operations and peacekeeping
    efforts to the Barangays.

    Again, let me express my gratitude to PBGEN


    EDGAR ALAN O OKUBO, I should say the father of
    “Revitalized Pulis Sa Barangay” program for his time
    and the opportunity to be with us, as well as to the
    attendees.
