A Classic Revitalized

KUALA LUMPUR, 23 July 2013: Boon Siew Honda Sdn Bhd brings out an updated and improved version of
its iconic Honda EX5, the Honda EX5 Dream 110. This historic machine, still the top-selling moped in the
Malaysian market after 26 years, retains its unique identity while at the same time, carries a host of new
upgrades that are designed to enhance its trademark durability and ability to sustain heavy usage.

Upgrading from its previous 100cc predecessor, the new version comes with a Euro 2 standard 110cc engine, a
bigger four-litre fuel tank and increase in bike performance by 11% with fuel efficiency measured at 53.6km per
litre. The look of the bike, that conveys reliability and assurance, is maintained but at the same time enhanced
with a modern metering panel and a Combi Tail-Light that incorporates multi-reflectors to ensure brilliant
brightness. An under cowl is added to the overall look for improved aerodynamics while also taking on the dual
role of shielding the engine from dirt and water splashes.

Mindful of the myriad of uses extracted from the EX5 by its consumers, the new Honda EX5 Dream 110 also
comes with heavy-duty suspension and wider tyres for better grip and stability.

However, comfort is not sacrificed in the name of practicality. The Honda EX5 Dream 110 is equipped with
wider seats for a more comfortable ride for rider and pillion alike.

The EX5 has always been a bike that was able to serve the needs of an entire family. Therefore, the presence of
a pillion rider is to be expected. In anticipation of this, the new Honda EX5 Dream 110 comes equipped with an
exhaust pipe heat shield to protect the pillion as well as aluminium grip handles.

"Urban legends abound about the amazing EX5 and its ability to serve generation after generation of users.
Since it was first launched in 1987, the EX5 has withstood the onslaught of competition from hundreds of new
models. Clearly, the demand for practicality and durability is timeless," said Satoshi Okada, Managing Director
and Chief Executive Officer of Boon Siew Honda Sdn Bhd.

The new Honda EX5 Dream 110 will hit the market on July 25, 2013 priced at an affordable RM3,908 with
kick-starter and RM4,145 for self-starter at showroom prices. Fans of the bike would be pleased to learn that
they can now own the bike with only a low down payment of RM399 and as an indication of Boon Siew
Honda's belief in the bike's durability, manufacturer warranty has been extended to two years or 20,000
kilometres.

… cont
Additionally, Boon Siew Honda Sdn Bhd is kicking off a one-year campaign in celebration of the launch of the
new Honda EX5 Dream 110. Effective this July 25, customers who purchase the new Honda EX5 Dream 110
from authorized Honda dealers can now stand a chance to win a second Honda EX5 Dream 110 by just filling in
a consumer survey form. The draw will be conducted at the end of every quarter and lucky winners stand to win
not just a second bike, but also a number of interesting goodies.

The new Honda EX5 Dream 110 will be available in Euphoria Red Metallic, Pearl Graceful Green, Vital Blue
Metallic and Mariana Purple Metallic.

NEW FEATURES AT A GLANCE:

Interior Upgrades

The Honda EX5 Dream 110 for the new generation will now boast a Euro 2 Standard 110cc engine. This is an

4-litre fuel tank.

Enhanced Durability

Improved, heavy-duty suspension is added to the Honda EX5 Dream 110, continuing the bike's legacy of
inherent toughness and durability. Wider tyres are added to the mix for better grip and stability.

Exterior Improvements

At first blush, the new Honda EX5 Dream 110 does not depart far from the timeless look of its predecessor. But
look closely and one will notice the modern twist on the bike's classic headlights; a combi tail-light which
stylish design incorporates multi-reflectors for better brilliance and brightness; as well as the presence of the
under cowl for improved aerodynamics and also serves as a shield for the engine from dirt and water splashes.

A Comfortable Ride - For Rider And Pillion Alike

TECHNOLOGY TAKES OFF WITH THE AIR BLADE

KUALA LUMPUR, 23 July 2013: Boon Siew Honda Sdn Bhd adds a new model into its scooter fleet with the
launch of the Honda Air Blade. Billed as the most technologically advanced scooter model to enter the
Malaysian market, the Air Blade comes packaged in a sleek, stylish design that exudes confidence.

The Air Blade is the first scooter in Malaysia to feature the twin projector headlights and remote response key.
The bold feature dominates the overall tough and edgy look of the bike. It will also feature an Idling Stop
System, Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) and Combined Brake System.

Beyond the exterior, low friction technology is employed to good effect to improve engine efficiency, greater
durability and fuel consumption. This eco-friendly technology is utilized in two key areas - the 125cc 4-stroke
single cylinder engine and in the ignition system.

Other thoughtful features that have become synonymous with a Honda offering into the market include the large
U-Box, convenient fuel tank cap and a side switch stand.

"This is clearly a bike for the younger generation," said Satoshi Okada, Managing Director and Chief Executive
Officer of Boon Siew Honda Sdn Bhd at the launch. "It combines ease-of-use with powerful performance and
strong aesthetics with technological advancements that promises better performance during high speed running.
With the increasing number of scooter models out there in the market, we at Honda are confident that the Air
Blade will always stand out."

Priced at RM7,708 (showroom price) the Honda Air Blade comes in three variants – Pearl Mettaloid White,
Pearl Magellanic Black with Gold Metallic and Pearl Magellanic Black with Silver Metallic.

The multiple attractive key features of the Honda Air Blade can be categorized into four key areas - aesthetics,
performance, safety and ease of use.

Sporty, Classy Sensation

The Honda Air Blade stands out from the crowd with its smooth, stylish design and powerful aerodynamics.
The Twin Projector Headlights, the first of its kind in the country, is an instant attention-grabber. To
complement the strong headlights, the speedometer is bold and sporty with the fuel level, digital clock,
odometer and tripmeter clearly displayed to best effect. The overall look is balanced out by the LED Tail Lights
and Brake Lights that also contributes towards visibility and safety, as well as a stylish exhaust design that gives
the bike an overall tough and edgy look.

Effective Use of Low Friction Technology

The 125cc 4-stroke single cylinder eco-friendly engine employs the eSP with PGM-FI function to improve
output efficiency, greater durability and excellent fuel consumption. This stands for Enhanced Smart Power
(ESP) that is a technology developed to improve performance by reducing friction. An eco-friendly electronic
fuel-injection system also helps boost performance.

The same technology is employed in the Integrated ACG System that helps the bike start smoothly with
maximum friction reductions and fuel savings.

At the same time, the Air Blade features a combined brake system that distributes braking force between the
front and rear wheels even if only one brake lever is pressed. This ensures smoother and more effective braking.

The Air Blade also comes equipped with an Idling Stop System that automatically shuts off the engine when the
bike is at a standstill to save fuel.

Safety Features

Safety features in the Air Blade include a Side Stand Switch that must be raised in order for the engine to start
up, Tubeless Tyres for safety in the event of punctures, and Versatile Locks with a double-locking system for
added safety.

Ease of Use

A lot of thought have been put into the way the Air Blade is going to be used by the average motorcyclists.
Other attractive features in the Air Blade include a Large U-Box, a convenient fuel tank cap that allows the bike
to be refuelled without the need to lift up the seat as well as the built-in lamps for the lock and the U-Box.

A Remote Response Key that helps locate the bike quickly and easily is part of the Air Blade's arsenal of
technological advancements. The Honda Air Blade is the first scooter to feature this new facility.

SPEECH BY MR. SATOSHI OKADA

Good evening and Selamat Berpuasa to all our Muslim friends,

Thank you for traveling here to be with us today. Especially to our Muslim friends during this fasting month, we
are very thankful for the effort you have made on our behalf.

The months of Ramadhan and Syawal has always been special in Malaysia. It is a holy month honoured by all
Muslims and also seen as a time of renewal. Perhaps that is why consumers who are considering a new bike
model start to shop around during this time.

That is why, we are pleased to add two more new models for the consumer’s choice this Ramadhan. Today we
are launching two very special bikes.

The first is Honda’s timeless classic – the new Honda EX5 Dream 110. 26 years after its introduction, the EX5
is still the number 1 selling bike in Malaysia. In other words, it is still the King of the Hill. This is why we are
introducing an upgraded version of the bike with new features but still retaining the classic look of the EX5. I
will not go into too much technical detail. My colleague, Mr. Minagawa will do that later on. But I want to
stress that these improvements have been made in all aspects – the 110cc engine, the improvement in
performance that measures at 11%, the exterior, the safety aspects and also the durability of the bike.

The second bike is very different. The Honda Air Blade will be the No. 1 scooter in terms of technology in
Malaysia. Again, I will leave the details to Mr. Minagawa. But I want to quickly mention about the new
technology being introduced into the bike. These include the Remote Response Key, Twin Projector Headlights
and better performance during high speed running. This is the first time these technologies are being used on a
scooter and we believe that this will rank the Honda Air Blade as the King of Scooters.

Scooters are now becoming very popular in Asia. But the Malaysian motorcyclist has a deeper attachment to the
moped. The Malaysian market is now going against the Asian trend with sales of moped still growing faster
than the sales of scooters. This is the reason why we are launching two different bikes today. It is so that we can
cater to both ends of the market.

The new Honda EX5 Dream 110 is priced at RM3,908 for the kick-starter version and RM4,145 for the self-
starter model. The Honda Air Blade is priced at RM7,708. Both bikes are available for test ride at the end of
today’s launch where you will be able to put them through their paces.

Thank you.
