more than 11,000 printed books and

The Digital Resource Centre on the 1st newly furnished floor provides access to thousands of E-books,
research journals and theses through HEC digital library access. It comprises basic databases including OVID,
ASTM, INFORMS, ProQuest thesis, SpringerLink, Wiley, and Taylor and Francis Journals. Along with these,
the library facilitates the researchers by connecting them to a range of open access resources including the
Directory of Open Access Journals and the Directory of Open Access Books.

The Fashion Design degree nurtures

The program comprises primary and supporting
disciplines in Fine Arts. It teaches the students to
study, explore and master different techniques
and mediums of drawing, painting, printmaking,

contexts of different movements in Arts and

focusing on project based and problem-based learning.
In developing countries like Pakistan, social entrepreneurship
is important as it provides individuals, groups and
communities with a framework for businesses to find their
own success in the pursuit of helping others. Universities
have a significant role in creating, developing, and sustaining
a rising generation of social entrepreneurs and their ideas.
By introducing this discipline, we aim at producing skilled,
trained and qualified social entrepreneurs as drivers of
change. We also aim to develop a pool of social entrepreneurs
who have a pragmatic vision, capable to achieve large-
scale, systemic and sustainable social change through
a different approach. Through this program, we would
be able to provide entrepreneurial leaders to different
organizations: large and small, new and old nonprofit and
for-profit, particularly in Pakistan.

The Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling program provides

Instructions for Students
The admissions are open on both Regular (i.e., Open Merit and Reserved Seats) and Self Support programs.
Please note that two marks will be deducted for each late year to a maximum of five years.

The students can apply for as many programs/seats, if they meet basic/specific criteria for those programs/
seats. However, they MUST submit a separate complete application with the needed/supporting documents
and pay separate application processing fee for each program/seat applied for.

The admission form MUST be clearly typed/written in block letters.

Incomplete applications in any regard will not be processed for admission.

Age limit is 24 years, however, upto 5 years of age relaxation may be granted to the applicant. For this purpose,
the candidate has to request in writing to the Head of Department (HOD) and upon recommendation of the
concerned HOD, the form will be forwarded to the Worthy Vice Chancellor for final approval.

The merit of BS and Associate Degree Program (ADP) will be based on intermediate result. However, for
Faculty of Art & Design and Faculty of History & Languages, the merit will be based on the cumulative scores
of intermediate, test and interview.

Semester-wise dues will be charged at the time of admission.
