1. Introduction

1.1 Introduction to system:

“Showroom Management System”

In this project we are describing the computerized system are use manually
Rajendra Honda Showroom management system. As developed in this system which
allow the customer to choose there dream bikes. We had studies this system with
respect to the ‘Rajendra Honda Showroom’ situated at Nashik pune highway,
Sangamner, Dist.Ahmedngar.

In this showroom currently transaction with respect to the applicant or people

are carried out by manually. Customer can select desired models of bikes & purchase
to particular select bikes. In this billing section customer is required to fill up form
with her/his details information mentioned in the form. After submitting this full filed
from the customer provide final bill.

So we have suited this system to remove the problems which are occurred due to
manual system.

1. Showroom Name:-Rajendra Honda Showroom.

2. Address:-Nashik pune highway, Sangamner.
3. Owner:-Omkar somani.
4. Models:-Bikes.

6
1.2 Existing System:

The existing system is a manual system .the system has to be changed now as
per the requirement of user.

In the previous system showroom shop was done manually that is all the
record were taken care of by the accountant of by the showroom shop manually, the
total amount of product were calculated by the account himself, and the daily report is
generated by the account .so it becomes too difficult for the accountant to keep the
record all the paper becomes difficult and time consuming too.

So it was too difficult for an account to work error free that too under so much
of work load.

7
1.3 Scope of Showroom Shop:-

There are many reasons for the requirement of a new system .the reasons are

1. It has time saving process.

2. It has no paper work each and every record maintains and saves with the help
of software.
3. It is efficient to handle records and inform to employee.
4. Records can be saving up to long period.
5. It is standardization in showroom shop.

8
1.4 Proposed System

1. Social work and privacy maintain between each other.

2. To increase the accuracy and to solve the problem of space.
3. The product is easily available in the shop.
4. To develop the system this is user friend
5. To avoid illegal manipulation of the document.
6. It helpful in reduction in the cost of system.

9
2. Analysis

2.1 Fact Finding Techniques

To study any system the analyst needs to do collect facts and all relevant
information. The facts when expressed in quantitative form the termed as data. The
success of any project is depended upon the accuracy of available collected with the
help of certain methods or techniques. These specific methods for finding information
of the system are termed as fact finding techniques. Interview, Questionnaire, Record
view and observations are the different fact finding techniques used by the analyst.
The analyst may use more than one technique for investigation.

1. Interview:-

The method is used to collect the information from groups or individuals. Analyst
selects the people who are related with the system for the interview, in this method the
analyst sits face to face with the people and records their responses. The interviewer
must plan in advance the type of questions he/she is going to ask and should be ready
to answer any type of question. He should also choose a suitable place and time which
will be comfortable for the respondent.

2. Questionnaires:-

It is the technique used to extract information from number of people. This

method can be adopted and used only by skillful analyst. The questionnaire consists of
series of questions framed together in logical manner. The questions are simple, clear
and to the point this method is very useful for attaining information from people who
are concerned with the usage of the system and who are living in different countries.
The questionnaire can be mailed or send to people by post. This is the cheapest source
of fact finding.

3. Record View:-

The information related to the system is published in the sources like

newspaper, magazines, journals, documents, etc. This record view helps the analyst to
get valuable information about the system and the organization

10
4. Observation:-

Unlike the other fact finding techniques, in this method the analyst himself
visit the organization and observes and understand the flow of document working of
the existing system, the users of the system, etc. for this method to be adopted it takes
an analyst to perform the job as he knows which points should be noticed and
highlighted. In analyst may observe the unwanted things as well and simply cause
delay in the development of the new system.

11
2.2 Feasibility Study

Provide you the proper information and easy operation the crucial part is deciding
upon the user requirement and to provide him/her the best possible solution.
Investigating the need for the system generating new ideas about functionality of the
system yield best output as we know creativity is essential to Innovation. Thus the
objective of the may be viewed as

1. The system should meet the user need.

2. The system should be economical

3. Crucial part from user/client point of view is that he/she should be able to operate
the system easily operated.

4. The system can be easily operated.

The system should the success of any system resides particularly from the user points is
that, does the system be easily maintained and enhanced.

From above point of views, we came to conclusion that “feasibility study” is conducted
to test the operational, economical and technical feasibility of the system.

Thus the feasibility of the system can be viewed from following three angles:-

1. Technical Feasibility:-

Technical Feasibility is mainly concerned with where the system proposed for
development can be computerized. This needs to consider the possibilities of using
machines available. If the hardware is being used in the system. It is always desirable
to select the best package that will be easy to implement for the system designing and
a interactive a possible to user.

12
2. Operational Feasibility:-

The system is user friendly and it is easily accessible its Operational feasibility
is mainly concerned with whether the system is user friendly, In this system.

We have followed a menu driven architecture as we see in the internet sites, which is
user friendly. It is much easier to operate, interface of the system and form are
maintained properly so that user can handle easily.

3. Economical Feasibility:-

Cost of development of the project is analyzed by manpower used to build the

system (Example coding testing debugging etc.) and the efficiency, correctness user
satisfaction. All the above points yield the cost of the project.

13
2.3 Hardware and Software Requirements:-

1. Hardware Requirement:-
1. Processor :- Pentium IV Processor
2. RAM :- 1 GB or above
3. Hard Disk :- 80 GB or above

2. Software Requirement:-

1. Operating System :- Windows XP/7

2. Back End :- MySQL
3. Front End :- PHP and HTML
4. Documentation :- MS – Word 2007

2. Reduction in time & money.
3. System is synchronizing with system.
4. Accurate result is obtained.
5. Avoid mistake.
6. Very quick report generation.
7. More security & safety for data.
8. Very easy to use.

2. Limitations:-

1. Need skilled person to handle it.

Possibility of errors occurring during run time is more.
2. Manual mistake can lead to hazards, as computer does not have its own brain.
3. The most important of the existing system is its Manual system.

24
6. Future Enhancement
1. In future, we are going to make this system such that it will be make window more
secure.
