6.1. Answer the questions on Classroom Management and Routines.

1. The routines that are followed in class are effective in maintaining discipline
and order. The students are clearly focused, the class is well-organized, and the flow of
instruction is smooth. The time allotted for discussion, activities, and assessments is
well used. As a result, the learning objectives specific to each session were met.

2. The routines that are implemented by the teacher are systematic and
consistent. These routines are the following:
 Turning in assignments/late projects
 Recording Attendance/Absent
 Break time
 Independent work/ asking for help
 Comfort room policy
 Homework
 Reminders
 Clean as you go policy
 Raising hand if the student need to speak
 Behavior management
The teacher and students followed these routines on a regular and
orderly basis. These routines help to maintain class harmony during
instruction.

2. Are Classroom rules really important?


Classroom rules are essential in the classroom because they not only
eliminate potential student misconduct, but they also shape their behavior and
discipline and improve their learning. It also teaches them responsibility and
makes them aware of the do's and don'ts in the classroom.

because I saw how responsible the students are with their actions, how well-
behaved and disciplined they are. They are respectful, and most importantly,
they do not engage in activities that are not permitted in the classroom. As a
result, they were able to learn the lessons more effectively. As a teacher, I
believe that following these rules will make it easier for me to manage my class
and effectively achieve the learning objectives.
