Why should you take ACLP?
The Learning and Development space has been evolving in recent years, from one
that is training and content focused, to one that is learning and performance centred.
This means new ways of designing and implementing learning. ACLP embraces these
new possibilities and helps you, the adult educator, to transform your practice so that
you in turn can help transform the learning of the Singapore workforce.
Mr Lee Wee Chee,
Director,
Learning & Professional Development Division, IAL

The role of the future Adult Educator is transforming tremendously. This calls for new
competencies to enhance learning and teaching so as to improve performance. Besides equipping
learners with the skills to design, deliver and assess classroom training, ACLP allows learners to
pick up new competencies in tech-enabled learning, workplace learning and learning solution
design etc. These skills are essential for our Adult Educators to be effective catalysts in
performance improvement for organisations. ACLP provides that cutting edge in learning.
Ms. Irene Wee
ACLP Adult Educator, DACE Adult Educator
Associate Adult Educator (AAE),
Adult Education Professionalisation (AEP), IAL

Launched in Q1 2020, ACLP modules M4 and E2 are designed to be stackable and thus in line with the national emphasis on stackable credentials that facilitate lifelong
learning - it is part of the WSQ Workplace Learning Facilitator (WLF) programme and upon completion can be used to progress to ACLP qualification.
