    PROPOSAL THOMASIANS BEST SELLER HIVE CLUB

    Title of the Activity: Uncovering the Enigma of English


    Theme: Enriching the Mind, Heart, Language and Make a Difference
    Date & Time: November 21-22 2022; Monday-Friday (8:30am-4:30pm)
    Venue: Holy Rosary Academy-Library at Molo Iloilo City
    Organizers: Thomasians Moderators and Officers
    Dominican Core Value: Compassionate Service

    Rationale:
    A library is a collection of materials for the intended users, they also collect a variety of
    information resources and other various services to support the teaching and learning process. The
    library is the heart of every school that provides information to the user to help our research and
    learning activities. They serve information needs and provide access to information and knowledge
    sources. Education is the factor in the development and improvement of a library. Libraries are not
    just storing books but also provide relevant information services to the users within the library
    collection. The school library is an integral part of an institution of higher education. It provides
    facilities to learners, faculty members, and administration. The mission of the school library is actively
    participating through a value-laden and quality education. Thus learners grow into functioning they
    must have as much access to learnable resources as possible, they all provide the information they
    need to learn and build their intelligence. The importance of a school library for learners is a crucial
    part of their growth.

    I. Objectives:
    The purpose of this activity program is to promote literacy and disseminate useful daily
    information to the learners and encourage lifelong learning through its reading materials and
    resources. To provide opportunity, ensure freedom and equal access to information for all members
    of the institution, to educate and enlighten them. To provide an adequate and stimulating learning
    environment for informational sources.

    II. Details of the Program/ Activity:


    The Holy Rosary Academy, Inc. moderators and officers of Saxonian Convergence Club aim to
    help, uplift, support and incorporate reading, writing, listening, and speaking activities to children
    who lacks the chance to go deeper in learning English.

    The Saxonian Convergence Club is scheduled to have its Outreach Program to our adapted Barangay at San
    Antonio, Molo, Iloilo City on October 27, 2022, with the Theme: “Enriching the Mind, Heart, Language and
    Make a Difference.”

    Please be informed that your son/daughter is one of the Saxonian Convergence Club officers for the school
    year 2022 – 2023. In connection, please allow him/her to attend the Outreach Program from 8:00 am to 11:30
    am since they will be facilitating and in charge of the said activity.

    Please fill up the Parent Confirmation Slip below and return it to the undersigned, Saxonian Convergence Club
    moderators on or before October 24, 8:00 am.
