    The history: now we will see the milestone of ikea

    - ikea was founded In 1943: To reward him for doing well in school, Ingvar’s father gives
    him a small sum of money, which he uses to set up a company. He names it IKEA
    -in 1974: the company sold her first furniture
    Then in 1951 ikea launched her first catalog, which contains all the company’s products
    -The Flat-packing of furniture, introduced in 1956, was a key factor in reducing the
    company’s costs and enabling it to cut prices and that was designed to be assembled at
    home.
    -1958 First store opened in Älmhult in Sweden
    2008 it becomes famous and she progressed by selling new products and new stores around
    the world

    Walmart is famous for providing a wide range of quality products. One such product is home
    furnishings. As a popular retail brand, their furniture is not only of good quality, but also easily
    available and affordable;

    Amazon provides its services online and offers a wide range of furniture under the name “Amazon
    Home”. Their provision of easy installation and free scheduled delivery services makes them a top
    IKEA competitor;

    Wayfair is an American e-commerce company that specializes in the sale of furniture and home
    accessories online. Their unique user interface as well as their provision of free shipping encourage
    customers to choose their products over IKEA’s;

    Tesco A United Kingdom-based company, Tesco Home and Furniture, offers attractive discounts and
    services to customers;

    Pepperfry is an online furniture shop in India that provides home decor, furniture, and other
    homeware at affordable prices. Their products, prices, and the wide-reach the company has in their
    home country make them one of IKEA’s competitors;
