My website is getting slower and slower. The theme i am using is less then 100KB and all tests i
have run show slow server response time. This is not the first time i am complaining about this and i
am utterly frustrated with Hostinger.

You are now in queue. One of our Live Specialists will take a look at your case and respond within
30 minutes.
We have your email, so we will be able to contact you if you leave this website.
also i keep getting this error every day at least 2 or 3 times
Greetings! I hope you are doing well today!
Let me check your information, will get back to you shortly.
ok

Thank you for your patience.

I tried to access your website load and load completed after sometime,
https://babyzcorner.com/
Upon checking your hosting i found there is no downtime/RTO/maintenance on your hosting/server,

And i went through your Order usages and found there was a peak last time for the past 24 hours
which may result error database shows while accessing website,
I have run the website speed analysis and here are the results:
TEST RESULT
Another thing that could cause the time load is the latency. The bigger the distance between you and
the server, where the website is hosted, the longer response time you may expect. Luckily, we do
offer a variety of server locations that you can choose from!

Thanks for letting us know
dont close the ticket before i respond
this does not help me at all
i see very different results on GT Metrixs
Let me test again with different connection.
sure and also test it through google page speed

Thank you for your patience.

I use a VPN on SG and here is the result, this affected by the latency the closer server location with
the visitor then the performance would be faster currently your hosting is on US.
TEST RESULT
PAGESPEED
The top issue i see from gtmetrix could be decrease by using plugins such as WP-rocket,
ok but do you really think that it should be E
i already have cache enabled and minimum plugins
i was expecting that it will be around B but E is just unacceptable
also can you share the screenshots with more resolution
seems like the resolution is of a thumbnail
more over would appreciate if you can check google page speed for Mobile... for both USA and
outside
this is what i am getting
Allow me to check that for you.
sure

Thank you for your patience.

I the pagespeed mobile version test completed and here is the result,
From the suggestion on the pagetest it suggested to optimize to reduce the 2 highest top issue on
the mobile version performance.
You might want to optimize some website scripts in order take make it run faster :
 Leverage browser caching
 Minimize redirects
Also, we have made an article for our users just for this reason (it's everything in one):
9 Steps to Speed Up WordPress
I understand how crucial website speed is, for this reason, we've prepared this comprehensive guide
for launching your website speed to the max
 WordPress Images Optimization
 Reduce DNS Lookups
 Minify CSS, HTML and Javascript
There is something to work on, however, once you do it all, your website will go really fast!
i have alreaady done that i think you are trying to jump around the main issue which is Server
Response time
even if you test it from USA
its still very high and more then 2 seconds
you can see it in your own screenshots
i need a clear answer on what is your server response time
Thank you for your patience.
The server response time result is affected by not only content which may be reduced by optimize
but also the process that's running on the hosting, i have created the logs for you, kindly check this
out,

lve_snapsh...2022-09-21

so based on the log data i still dont see a reason why the response from server should be more then
2 seconds
i bought the business plan thinking that it will easily support at least 10 websites but i am shocked at
your server response time which cannot even handle 2 websites out of which only one is live
will be moving away from you guys soon and horrible service

I understand how this has impacted your workflow. I’d be upset, too. I will be sure to do everything I
can to get this fixed as soon as possible!
The log created is the log when resource hitting limit, that's why it's easier to analyze because it
would show which action on domain name that you see on related file is domains that use high
resource.
The resource usage would impact server response time to domain result, you can remove/or stop
related execution which was running when hitting resource.
You can also boost your account free once a month to test if the performace is faster with higher

you are just copy pasting response without being specific

tell me one instance where the resource hit the limit in the log file?
i am hardly using 25% of the resources
can you escalate my case to your superior
now even the wordpress is getting slow
who can i escalate this issue
I have forwarded these details to our technical team and we will make sure to provide you with a
solution as soon as possible. We will inform you as soon as this issue is resolved.
ok... thanks for accepting that there is an issue on your side
i am still here and waiting since its effecting my business and a few customers have already
complained about it

I will get back at you when there's any update. Kindly wait.

Thank you so much for the details, I have forwarded the information to my colleague who is
specializing in this topic, you will receive a response as soon as the query is checked.
Thank you for your patience!
ok thanks

Hey there! Hope you are well

As my colleague had to step out, I will be assisting you further.

Allow me to familiarize with your query and provide you with further information asap!
ok
I'm currently checking everything for you. I would like to note that it may take some time, I will keep
you updated
sure... take your time ... i need a resolution because i have already done everything you guys
recommend and the Theme developers from Shoptimizer also say that the issue is with hosting due
to delay in Server Response Time

Thank you for your patience! I truly appreciate it.

To test the server speed, I have created this simple .HTML file that you could access using this
URL: http://babyzcorner.com/hostinger.html
I have test the server speed using this URL, and the website speed along with the server response
time is normal:

After checking your order usage thoroughly, I can see that there were single spikes in resource
usage:
Due to this reason, your website might be slow or appear down for some time.
Could you let me know if you have made any recent changes or updates on your website during the
time spikes appeared?

About the issue, no worries, I have help checked your detailed resource usage, I can see that
processes that were using most of your hosting plan resources were generated from index.php, wp-
cron.php and admin-ajax.php files and this process is reappearing:
This means that this issue was created by one or several of your website plugins when specific
changes are done regarding these plugins or scheduled tasks are running.
There are several options how to prevent this issue:
 We have an amazing step-by-step article on how a root of the admin-ajax issue can
be identified and solved on your website: How to Reduce admin-ajax.php Server Load in
WordPress
 For wp-cron.php, you can open your WordPress wp-config file and add this rule
inside this file: define('DISABLE_WP_CRON', 'true'); After that WordPress CronJobs
won't be runing automatically and you can run them manually, here is an article to help
you out: Disable WP_CRON
 For index.php file to find the root of the issue, I would highly suggest disabling your
plugins, minimizing the number of cron jobs (if you have any), and checking if the usage
has dropped. Here is an article on how you can disable your website plugins directly
from the website directory: How to disable plugins
If you will have any questions regarding this process or need assistance - I'm here for you.
first of all creating a simple HTML page is not the right way to test the performance of your server...
may i know how on earth you came up with this theory that s normal HTML page will give you
metrics for server performance? No images, nothing at all and just testing a HTML page with one
line... are you joking here
Secondly what you are calling spikes are nothing but increased traffic or changes to the website....
moreover how can the server performance can be so horrible if the so called spike is only 20% or
25% of the total allocation???
The spikes might be due to DB cleanup or updating of plugins but again that should not effect the
server performance
what you have proposed regarding wpcron or index makes no sense... can't you see how much
resources they are taking... thats nothing
again and for the last time i am asking you guys to escalate my case before i go public with this
3% or 4% of usage is causing issue related to server performance... what a joke... do you guys really
provide this sort of support to all your customers
Hi, about the HTML page, that is the proper way to check the server speed, as the issue that you
were referring to was about the server speed. Using this simple .HTML will show us the proper
speed of the server without being affected by your website content. If the speed report is bad with
the website content, then the issue is related to the website optimization and not the server. If the
server speed is bad, then any speed result including this simple .HTML file will show a bad speed
result.
As for the resource issue, it is related to the iops faults, and not about the CPU usage, they are a
different resources, but, if there is an I/O faults, your website might be slow or appear down for some
time. So, to fix it, you could follow the suggestion above.

nice... so an HTML page can test the server speed... i am learning new stuff and i am sure the whole
world needs to learn from you.... AMAZING
Great response... thanks i am done with Hostinger...

Non www to www
Hammad from Hostinger
Hi, I tried to follow this guide for moving my non-www domain to www but it failed and i was logged
out of WP Admin Dashboard which resulted in me unable to log in again. Moreover my site was
down and i was getting Too many redirects error. I had followed everything mentioned in the article
and did not had any trouble with CDN or editing the .htaccess file. I am suspecting that this can be
efficiently done at server level by you guys OR maybe we need to first change it in WP Admin
dashboard > General settings and then do everything else? Need help and guidance on this

You are now in queue. One of our Live Specialists will take a look at your case and respond within
30 minutes.
We have your email, so we will be able to contact you if you leave this website.
this is the guide which i followed word by word https://www.hostinger.com/tutorials/how-to-redirect-
non-www-urls-to-www

Hello there! No worries, I'm here to help you out! Let me go ahead and check on it for you here.
Kindly give me a moment
ok

Just so we are on the same page, you were trying to move your non-www domain to redirect it to
having www on it right? And the domain in question is babyzcorner.com
yes thats correct
currently its setup as babyzcorner.com
trying to improve the performance

Alright! Thank you for informing me of this! Let me check on this further and see what we can do!
May I have a couple of minutes to investigate?
sure

May I ask permission to access your wp-admin page to see if I will be logged out of it as well? I will
be trying it via hPanel.

Also, your website is working on my end, but it yes, it still doesn't redirect to www.babyzcorner.com
sure go ahead

Thank you! Please bear with me for a moment!

ok
i am already kicked out
:( logged out and unable to log in now
my website is also down
Thank you for sharing this with me! I am currently checking on this
ok
do you want me to enable the rule in cloudflare
can you respond please because i cannot tolerate to have my website down

I am currently checking on this. Please bear with me for a moment. I will update you on the next
steps
ok
It seems I am still unable to create a redirect. Mentioning that you can access Cloudflare, are you
able to create the rule for it and see what happens?

Redirect to WWW here is the link for reference!

leave it
you have no idea what you are doing
as usual you guys provide the worst support
bye

I do understand, however, I tried recreating your .htaccess, with the code for the redirect to www.
But overwriten as to why the website is still accessible.

Also, I am trying to rule out every possible suggestion and as you mentioned the rule in Cloudflare
also still applies for this. Creating a redirect in .htaccess and changing the DB URL to www is not
working. When creating a redirect using .htaccess, the DB URL must be changed as well. Earlier it
was not so I changed it and it was still not redirecting.
what the hell have you done
when i click on LiteSpeed Cache in my WP Admin dashboard
this comes up and i have to relogin

it logs me out

I am not able to replicate that kind of issue, as I have not made changes to your plugins. I am only
checking on the redirects of your website. You can also find the steps in the article that I have sent.
click on the toolbox from the left menu and see if you get logged out or not
regarding the article, i think i already shared with you in my opening message

This is what I see

do you know WordPress?
i am talking about Toolbox not Tools

Yes, the reason for the article is that you have suggest trying the Cloudflare rule and creating a
redirect via .htaccess and changing the Database URL is not taking effect. I was suggesting to try
and create the Rule
and its in the left menu of LiteSpeed Cache

No, it does not log me out of it

ok then maybe its my cache issue... let me clear it and try again... please wait
it keeps logging me out
ok it works now.

ok regarding the non www to www

It doesn't seem to log me out of it still.

Also regarding the www redirect. I have made a configuration on your wp-config.php file and it is
now being redirected to www.
let me check

Try to check it using Incognito to be clear of caching issue

yup thats what i am doing

Alright! Let me know how it goes!

its not redirecting on my end
whats the configuration you have done

Browsers are usually designed today to only show the domain name itself. But, when you try to click
the whole URL. It should be on a www redirect.
yup... correct

This is on your wp-config.php file

i am trying to run some tests to make sure its all good
should i enable the cloudflare rule also as mentioned in your documentation ?

For this one, since the www redirect is already working. I advise not to as it can lead to many
redirects
The cloudflare rule is an option in any case other methods fail
ok some of the tests have passed and still waiting for a few more
mean while can you also help me with something

Sure! What is it?

yesterday while i was working on the site... mostly adding blogposts
i had suddenly received a DB error and everything went down including the WP admin

later on when i looked... i see a spike of 100% for CPU

can you share with me the root cause of why it happened
In most cases, CPU usage is dependent on the both of the websites that are in your Hosting account
right now.

It can be a mix of the plugins that are used or if you have any cron jobs too. It is advised to always
optimize those things as it can affect the performance of the website.

If there many plugins that is used and also if in need of update.

i see ok noted on that
as for testing the ww redirect
i dont see that error but the performance has really gone down to 67

it was 95
In this case, you may need to optimize the website! As with the sudden spike of the CPU, there
might be optimization needed Also, you can try and have your Server Location near to your
Geographical location as I can see your server is located in the US. It would be beneficial to have a
Server Location near to you as well! How to transfer your hosting account to a different server?

its already in USA and thats where i need

the test results clearly recommend to have CDN in place
this is the impact of not having CloudFlare
how can i enable CloudFlare now since its impacting the speed
also you can clearly see that the website is fully optimized and is above 90 in all scores except
performance
Well, for this, you can activate Cloudflare by creating a Cloudflare account, there is also a free
package here that you can use to create as well and have your Nameservers changed to
Cloudflare CLOUDFLARE PLANS
dude i already have everything setup
dont you remember i shared the screenshot a few mins back
let me enable the rule and see how it impacts

If you already have Cloudflare, what do you mean by this is the impact of not having Cloudflare from
earlier?
the test results are saying that the performance of the domain www.babyzcorner.com is not optimal
because there is no CDN implemented for redirects
this is impacting the overall server response time
after activating the rule... you can clearly see some improvements
Awesome! I am happy to hear that it has an impact on the score, however, for performance to be top
notch. This would require a assistance of a web development as our support on this is limited and
only specializing on Hosting.

In any case No worries at all though, I would like to guide you to the right place where an issue like
this can be resolved with the help of developers. I highly recommend signing up for this awesome
developer’s oriented forum – stackoverflow.com. It is a great place to get development support.

can assure you once you post this problem, you should get the guidance needed in no time.
Alternatively, you search on Fiverr.com for a professional that would help you with this for a very
reasonable price.
In the meantime, if you require any assistance with anything else, I am here for you
thanks but i know what i am doing.... anyways... thanks for the help
appreciate it

Trying to Transfer a website from Zoho Builder to

Hi Guys, so i am planning to transfer my site (www.teamz360.com) to hostinger and run it on

WordPress. I wanted to know if you have any guidelines for this? Also do you provide any tool for
importing the site or i will need to do everything from scratch. I am also thinking how it will effect my
emails since its a live site and currently i am using Zoho Mail which works perfectly fine. What
changes would i need to do to get my emails running without any disruption?

You are now in queue. One of our Live Specialists will take a look at your case and respond within
30 minutes.
We have your email, so we will be able to contact you if you leave this website.
Hello there! No worries, I'm here to help you out! Let me go ahead and check on it for you here.
Kindly give me a moment
ok sure

Can you clarify please if you wish to migrate a site from:

 An active plan at Hostinger;
 Backup Files;
 External Provider
With this information I will be able to best guide you into the correct steps to migrate it.
1. i already have Business Plan with hostinger and plan to migrate a site from Zyro so that i can
have a WordPress site.
2. Zyro does not provide any backup files to be downloaded
3. Zyro website builder where the site currently resides. Emails are on Zoho mail
???

Websites made using Zyro website builder can only be hosted on Zyro servers, and for this reason,
the feature to download your website files to a local device is not implemented. However, all
backups are stored on Zyro end, thus if you ever need to restore a backup, feel free to contact Zyro
support at support@zyro.com or via live chat (Zyro account required) and they will assist you with
that!
I'd also like to note that if you intend to change to Wordpress then you would have to rebuild the
website like so: https://www.hostinger.com/tutorials/wordpress
Let me know if you have questions along the way!
what about the email?

While the email, if you intend to still host it with Zoho, no need to change the MX records, you would
have to retain it
ok cool
thanks
just wanted to make sure about this... so pointing my domain to another host is not going to change
anything on email

If you'll be changing the name servers, it will. You'll have to set up the MX again.
talks a lot about your common sense and ability to understand the customer question

Thank you for your patience.

ok sure... waiting

Thank you.
what taking you so long
i am losing customers and its been over 8 mins
you haven't replied on what is causing this issue

hello ???

Thank you for waiting.

There was an ongoing maintenance on the server where you website is hosted.
Our team is working on resolving the issue.
At the moment, the websites are now accessible.
You can check for status update here: https://statuspage.hostinger.com/
Mary

it would have been really nice if you guys could have sent me an email about this
as a customer i expect updates from Hostinger and its extremely unprofessional that i do not get any
news about updates on server being carried out in advance

also this is very unprofessional that you are not updating the Order Usage page in hpanel
its just blank

I understand how this has affected your business, but it was a minor issue that has been resolved as
soon as possible.
Give me a moment to check.
can you define minor?
39 mins before you even responded
is that something minor
also if i look at the order usage which i am now able to see.... the website has been down for more
then 3 hours
The issue did not take long to be resolved and that is why our technical team updated the incidence
on out status page.

At the moment the issue has been fully resolved and you will not face any challenges

Greetings! Thank you for contacting Hostinger! Please allow me to check your account and I will get

ok
????

I must note that the investigation of such a case might take around 15-20 minutes. In the meantime,
feel free to add any helpful details if you have them!
sure
i'll wait then
Hi there! I can see that there are faults on your website recently.

I can also see that the ling that is causing a lot of CPU usage is:
lsphp:omains/babyzcorner.com/public_html/index.php

May I know if you recently made some changes to your account? If Yes, the fault may be related to
the changes that you made.
thanks for looking in to it.... i dont remember any changes to code... only installed plugins like
monster insight very recently or updated LS Cache plugin
this is a normal process for LS server and i am shocked to see this happening at just 17 or 18% of
CPU usage

I see that could be the possible reason of the faults.

During the updates, installation the usage will also spike because of the transition/updating.
But looking at your resource usage it seems to be okay now.

If you need anything else, please do not hesitate to get back to us so that we could assist you
further.
you took 20 mins to give me this response without any solid reasoning
i can see several forums which are mentioning that if the hosting provider has not properly setup the
server then this is the reason behind isphp issue

As for the moment, I actually have ended my shift. Please don't worry! I will now redirect our
conversation to my colleague, who is amazing and will help you in this situation

I already leave a note - overview of your case, so you won't have to explain everything again. They
can pick up and continue from we left off. You will receive a message from them soon

It was nice talking to you Hammad, I hope we can solve the issues smoothly as soon as possible. All
the best!
ok
FYI i can again see another spike
Hello there Hammad! I hope you are having a good day.
My name is Verwin, and I'll be taking it from here. Please give me a few minutes to get familiar with
your case

ok

I am generating the Logs that causes the CPU Usage to that causes these faults in your Hosting
ok

I have generated the Logs and it can be accessed in our default File Manager:

Go to .logs and then go to lve_snapshot_2022-10-15. Most CPU comes

from babyzcorner.com/public_html/index.php, babyzcorner.com/public_html/wp-
cron.php, zcorner.com/public_html/wp-admin/plugins.php
For plugins.php and index.php, this is mostly caused by a certain plugin. What you can do is to
disable all plugins of the affected website and you can enable them one by one and check if your
CPU Usage will spike:
How to disable WordPress plugins without access to the admin page?

How to disable WordPress plugins if you cannot access the…

You can also use this as guide:
90% CPU usage on index.php
How To Reduce CPU Usage in WordPress (Full Checklist)

And lastly for High WP-Cron Usage, you can use this as your guide to lessen its impact:
How To Solve WP-Cron Job Errors Caused By WordPress Hosting
Troubleshooting High WP-Cron Usage
let me have a look at the logs

also i think you dont seem to understand the problem

the issue is not actually high CPU usage but the faults at only 17 or 18% of usage
which is completely a different thing all together
for example this error came up when it was only 15%
As I checked, the Fault that you see is the 1 Time the specific resource hit the limits. The focus here
is that the Fault and CPU Usage are related since these are affected by a process in your website.
disagree
whats the hypothesis behind this
give me a solid reason behind this hypothesis
because i see completely a different reason and can prove it to you if you want

also this is regarding WP index.php not related to any theme or plugin... which shows that this is a
normal process
my hypothesis is that you guys are not providing the said resources and have implemented CPU
throttling and thats what is causing bad or mis configuration in LS server hence the CPU faults are
coming up....
to back up my hypothesis, i can disable all plugins and only do one task.... edit a couple of products
and you will see a spike in CPU usage

do you want me to try that so that you can also see

i am also shocked to see that you are sharing an article which was written in 2016 and completely
outdated

October 16
Thank you for the clarification and the clear ratification of everything that you have sent.
How about this, can I create a case to our technical team so they can examine the issue further? I
will add all of what you have mentioned.
sure go ahead

I have forwarded these details to our technical team and we will make sure to provide you with a
solution as soon as possible. We will inform you as soon as this issue is resolved.
We will be sending you an email once they have responded.

Is there anything else that I can assist you today?

ok... yes there is one more thing... please give me 10 mins ... doing some changes right now and
testing my own hypothesis

Sure!
i followed this article to create a real cron job and now everything is down
https://www.hostinger.com/tutorials/how-to-setup-and-manage-a-wordpress-cron-job
i cant even access even the wp admin
deleted the cron job and edited the wpconfig file again to its original form
and everything is back

what could be the reason ???

I was about to check your WordPress Dashboard but I see that it is now working.
Can you please tell me what error you experienced earlier?
yeah its working now and all i did was followed the article step by step
so i went to wp-config.php file and added this line
define( 'DISABLE_WP_CRON', true )
above the “/* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */”
then followed the rest of the steps as mentioned in the article but it did not work and i lost access to
wp admin also
if you scroll above, i noticed that one more thing got disabled when i disabled the cron in wp-config
can you see the red cross

Yes, I can see the red cross. Can you try adding the code below “/* That’s all, stop
editing! Happy blogging. */”

below?? umm ok
same red cross coming up

I see, so either way it will not work. I tried adding it at the bottom and it didn't worked as well.
Just to make sure, do you need to setup Cron Job right now or you are experimenting in the
configuration?
i want to set it up right now and thats the reason why i was doing it
i am not sure why am i getting this error
absolute path basically defines index.php or wpadmin in other words

Do you want me to add this to the case that I created to our technical team?
yes i am waiting
i need this to be solved ASAP

Sure!

We will be sending you an email once they have responded

ok.. i am here for the next couple of hours

My apologies but I cannot promise that we can have a respond from our technical team in the next
couple of hours. This is because our technical team work on the requests on first-come-first-served
basis.
i know... and i also know that they have never come back in 24 hours as claimed
I have already added all of this to our technical team.
Do you want to keep the conversation opened while we are waiting for their reply or would it be okay
if we can cause the conversation?
lets keep it open until they reply

Sure!
We will be reaching out to you once our technical team has responded.
again another fault... i installed the WP Crontrol as the article said and also edited the WP RUN cron
which was running every second to hourly and the result is the same

what a shame for hostinger to have a fault at just 12% of CPU usage
also i am wondering how many Php workers do you guys provide

Hello!
You are right on time because our technical team has responded regarding this. As per our technical
team. The red areas in the graph shows when the CPU limit was reached. The blue line in the graph
shows aggregated data over some time (1 minute i guess). Therefore, if the CPU usage is low but
spikes to 100% for <1m it will show as a red area but not in the blue line.
However, if you feel like they haven't answered all of your questions, shall I add on why the CPU
Usage is showing faults at 12%?
lol
honestly if thats the case then why arent the log showing that much of spike

come on man don't bull shit with me

i want to know how many Php workers are you using
also do you offer Redis or memcached ?
tell your technical team that they need to provide a clear cut answer and stop bull shitting

As I checked PHP Workers is the same as entry process limit and the value for Business Shared
Hosting is 30.
And as per Redis or memcached, at the moment we do not offer these, since we don’t have LSMCD
installed on Hostinger servers. But it is already one of the programs that our admins are working on.

ok... let me know when you have something conclusive from your technical team

Sure! I will make sure to provide you this infromation.

ok
also they still need to get back on the real cron issue
so i am waiting to get answers

Yes, I forgot to mention earlier. I'm sorry

The code is missing a ; at the end. It should be:
define('DISABLE_WP_CRON', true);

ok let me try
lets see how it goes... was able to create a real cron
Sure!v

However, whenever they do you will still be notified even via email.
yeah i know... you guys usually take 20 - 24 hours before providing a general response and blaming
everything on plugins

this time i am going to record everything so that i can post it and share my experience openly with
public

I understand your frustration but I can assure that the technical are looking into it and will provide
feedback on the situation.
