1. Introduction
Apple is a giant tech company who focuses on hardware, software and cloud
computing. In this report we are going to look insight about Apple’s Strength,
Weakness, Opportunities and Threats while discussing about the new emerging
technologies.

2. Industry background
Apple is trillion-dollar company. Apple Inc. was established on April 1, 1976, by
school dropouts Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, who brought the new organization a
dream of changing the manner in which individuals saw PCs. Jobs and Wozniak
began building the Apple I in Jobs' carport and sold them without a screen, console, or
packaging (which they chose to add on in 1977). The Apple II altered the PC business
with the presentation of the first-since forever shading graphics.1 Sales bounced from
$7.8 millions of every 1978 to $117 million out of 1980, the year Apple went public.
Wozniak left Apple in 1983 because of a decreasing interest in the everyday running
of Apple Computers. Jobs became the CEO of Apple in 2000. (Curry, 2021)

Jobs believed a customer needs and wants will not make a revolutionary product.
Some of his best work on apple were MacBook pro, iPad and iPhone 4 which led
Apple to be multimillionaire company. Jobs died in 2011 due to pancreatic cancer.
Filling in as CEO until in a matter of seconds before his demise, Steve Jobs gave the
reins of the organization to Tim Cook. Then, iPhone 6 and 6s launched in 2014 which
became the highest selling smartphone over $222 million. More than 50% of apple
revenue comes from iPhones only. This company has emerged not only in smartphone
but in wearables, Mac and iPad. Apple is known for its good privacy and good
customer satisfaction. Apple also provide services like Apple Card, Apple news+, and
Apple arcade.

Apple invests more on Research and Development. There are rumours of technologies
like wearables, AR glasses, and Virtual Assistance. For now, a revolutionary technology
change was moving their mac line-up from Intel to the SOC M1 and is in development of
second phase. Now, is the best time for Apple to use CRM as it is a great value for money
product, and supports huge discounts for students, teachers, and staff. As, first M1 was
unveiled there was clear indication that Apple is doing right but due low scores of GPU in
a Mac there was sudden hesitation for customers to buy it as it would not perform well.
And there was this huge debate of whether the app supported the mac arm processor or
not. Apple is going to launch the second generation of M1 which will have more GPU
cores and faster performance.

5G is also another emerging technology which is not yet worldwide enabled. Most of the
products of Apple like iPhone and iPad come with 5G. However, there are not many 5G
towers or bandwidth to take the full advantage of the technology. Apple could invest
more on 5G as in near future there is a high chance every customer wants high network
enabled products and the market of 5G is also estimated to be $41.48 billion by 2020 and
annual growth of 43.9% from 2021 to 2027.

3. Conclusion/Summary
The key conclusion that can be formed about Apple is that they are incredibly innovative
and early adopters. Apple always keeps its product line both well-programmed and
equipped. This keeps the product valuable and apart from other competitors. Now, Apple
is working on the digital ecosystem to build software that is more interactive and
seamless. Which will bring the best user experience to its customer with the help of its
innovation, software, hardware, and service. Furthermore, it can be great contribution
towards AI, and benefit the people in least developed countries and make all the clients
up close on personal level so, it can deal with issues upfront.
