The tournament will feature 10 teams from around Surigao del Norte province and aims to bring back camaraderie and sportsmanship through volleyball after the pandemic. The head coach is writing to request free use of the municipal LGU van on the date of the tournament since most players are students who cannot afford the travel costs to Surigao City. He assures the mayor that the team will proudly represent their municipality.

    Dear Mayor Rene,

    Greetings of Peace!

    The Alegria Volleyball Club Men’sTeam will be joining the 1st Surigao del Norte Volleyball Association One-
    Day Tournament which will be held at Surigao Provincial Gymnasium this coming July 24, 2022. This
    tournament is composed of 10 participating teams within Surigao del Norte province. The
    purpose of this event is to bring back the spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship for
    Volleyball enthusiasts that has been long gone brought by the pandemic and to reignite the
    relationship of coaches across the region.

    In line with this, our team, ALEGRIA VOLLEYBALL CLUB MEN’S TEAM, would like to request from
    your good office if we can use the LGU Van on July 24, 2022 (Sunday) FREE OF CHARGE.
    Most of my players are still students and could not afford the roundtrip fare going to
    Surigao City. Rest assured that we will represent our municipality with utmost pride and
    honor as we journey towards getting the championship title.

    Thank you in advance for your kindest help and consideration regarding this matter. Your positive
    response will be highly appreciated.
