    SUMMER 2011 MEETINGS


    The Associations 2 summer membership meetings are held at the Surf City Borough Hall. Meetings include a "town hall" segment, which offers the membership an opportunity to offer suggestions, ask questions, provide guidance, and volunteer their time to the organization.

    Archie Vassiliadis, a founding member and past Officer of the Association, created a beautiful design that incorporates the towns history of whaling and the Borough's present status as a premier family resort. The flags are deep blue with white graphics and are available either with grommets or a pole sleeve, depending on mounting style. Also included with each purchase is a brief history of Surf City written by local historian, the late John Bailey Lloyd. A new printing of the flags was done with the help of the Surf City Pharmacy. Winners can take home a trophy and other great prizes from Ron Jons. Starts at 10:00 a.m., judging 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. All Surf City ordinances, including beach badge requirements, will be enforced.
