EXPLORE WANDERLUST!
Wanderlust Festivals combine yoga, music, art, education, and food! Each event lasts several days and
happens outdoors in beautiful places around the world. For example, in 2015, there were Wanderlust
Festivals in New Zealand, Australia, Canada, and many places in the United States, like Hawaii and
California.
A typical Wanderlust Festival starts with different kinds of yoga in the morning. If you like to be calm,
you can take a relaxing yoga class. If you like to work out, you can take a more active class, like
standup paddleboard yoga. For this, you do yoga on boards in the water! During the day, there are
many outdoor adventures. You can go rock climbing, rafting, or mountain biking. Learning is another
important part of the festivals. For example, you can take photography workshops or dance classes.
There are also many art exhibits. Many people enjoy meeting local artists and buying handmade items,
like scarves and jewelry. Wanderlust Festivals provide healthy food for festival participants. Local chefs
cook everything from snacks to full meals. Listening to live music is a great way to end the day at
Wanderlust Festivals – but you don’t have to just listen. You might dance to reggae music or do yoga
while musicians play flutes!
Wanderlust Festivals have something for everyone! You can even get an app for your phone that helps
you walk around the festival, giving you maps and schedules for the events.
