NOTIFICATION
Sub: Amendment in the Rajasthan Government Health Scheme.
Ref: Notification of even number dated 09-04-2021.
The Governor has been pleased to make the following amendments in the
Rajasthan Government Health Scheme to substitute the following existing
paras, namely:-
1. Substitution of para 1.- The existing para 1 of the said scheme shall be
substituted by the following, namely:-
liThe Governor is pleased to introduce a Cashless Health Benefit Scheme
hereinafter referred as Rajasthan Government Health Scheme (RGHS) to
cover indoor medical treatment expenses, specified daycare
procedures, outdoor treatment, investigations and medical attendance
and treatment under Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani Chikjtsa Paddhati
and other treatment as specified or to be specified by State Government.
The scheme will cover compulsorily the Ministers, All India Service
Officers, MLAs & Ex-MLAs, Serving Government employees. The medical
facilities to the retired judicial service officers shall be governed under
Rajasthan Judicial officers (Medical Facility) Rules, 2008 till further order.
This scheme will be applicable for the employees and pensioners of

Autonomous Bodies, Boards, Corporations etc.
2. -- Substitution of para 2.- The existing para 2 of the said scheme shall be
substituted by the following, namely:-
"2. The RGHS will cover all the medical facilities as per conditions and
procedures laid down under the respective rules / schemes of different
categories viz. (i) The Rajasthan Ministers (Medical Attendance) Rules,
1961 (ii) All India Services (Medical Attendance) Rules, 1954 (iii) The
Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Members (Medical Facilities) Rules, 1964
(iv) Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Ex-Members and Family Pensioners
(Medical Facilities) Rules, 2010 (v) Rajasthan Civil Services (Medical
Attendance) Rules, 2013 (vi) Rajasthan State Pensioners' Medical
Concession Scheme, 2021. The medical facilities to the retired judicial
service officers shall be governed under Rajasthan Judicial officers

(Medical Facility) Rules, 2008 till further order.
3. Substitution of para 3.- The existing para 3 of the said scheme shall be
substituted by the following} namely:-
"3. For the employees and pensioners of Autonomous Bodies} Boards}'
Corporations etc. who have opted for RGHS will be allowed for treatment
as per their option given under RGHS."
4. Amendment in para 4.- In para 4 of the said Scheme} the existing
expression " rghs.gov.in" shall be substituted by the expression
"www.rghs.rajasthan.gov.inll.
5. Substitution of para 7... The existing para 7 of the said scheme shall be
"7. Enrollment of beneficiaries under this scheme will start from 10-4-
2021 and will be on going process"
6. Substitution of para 8... The existing para 8 of the said scheme shall be
lIThe online registration facility for all the categories will be available on
RGHS website www.rghs.rajasthan.gov.in along with the procedure to fill
such forms. Every persons of above mentioned category will be notified
regarding enrollment with Unique RGHS Card Numbers. 1I
7. Amendment in para 9.- In para 9 of the said Scheme} the existing
expression IIwww.rghs,gov.in" shall be substituted by the expression
"www.rghs,rajasthan.gov.inll and the existing expression liThe procedure and

terms and conditions for e-pharma stores will be decided in due course shall be
deleted.
