    A. Tagging for cable coming from MRSS-2 to CRM-2 complex.


    i) Power Cable
    Source Panel with area code-Destination Panel with area code-P0-Sequence number
    Example: MRSS2-33KVSWB12-CRM2-UTL-33KVSWBD5-P0-XXX
    (It is coming from MRSS-2 33 KVSWBD panel 12 to CRM-2 utility 33 KVSWBD panel 5)

    ii) Control Cable

    Area Code-Route Number-Tray Layer (bottom most being /Left most being 1)-H/M/L/C/S

    H= 33 KV Cable Tray
    M=6.6 kV Cable Tray
    L= 415 V Cable Tray
    C=Control Cable Tray
    S=Signal Cable Tray

    ( It is at CGL#4 furnace area route 1 and 6 number tray from bottom and carrying signal cable).

    We need to finalise the cable and cable tray numbering system for CRM-2 plant.
    Please share if there is any existing designation system

    Otherwise we would like to propose the following

    Cable and Tray numbering System


    Unit number-Plant number- ECR Designation-Service Designation-Voltage code-Sequence Number

    Lets take CRM-2 number as 178 in AMNS Hazira. You may inform if there is any other number.
    Plant Number: PLTCM-1, CGAL-2, CGL#3-3 and CGL#4-4, Utility area-5, Finishing area-6.
    ECR Designation: CGL#4 has three ECR so, entry will be 1, intermediate will 2 and exit will be 3. Utility has one ECR so
    it will be 1.
    Voltage Code: 0 is MV cable, 1 is LV cable, 2 is control cable 110 V, 3 is instrument cable 24 V.

    Example:
    LV Power cable coming from CGL#4 entry ECR:
    CRM2.4.E1.SWBD1-Destination tag-P0-Sequence number

    LV Power Cable tray coming from CGL#4 entry ECR


    CRM2.4.AREA P0-Sequence number

    Control cable coming from CGL#4 entry ECR:


    178-4-1-CC-2-XXX

    Control Cable tray coming from CGL#4 entry ECR


    178-4-1-CT-2-XXX
