SECTION 1 - PENTADBIRAN
201. SIARAN WARTA RAYA (SIAWARA)
Rujuk: Panduan Dokumentasi Pasukan No 20.
a. Setiap kemalangan yang melibatkan anggota Angkatan Tentera

Malaysia perlulah dilaporkan. Laporan yang dibuat adalah untuk
memberitahu waris dan pihak berkenaan yang bertanggungjawab
menguruskan dokumentasi dan lain-lain pentadbiran anggota. Oleh itu
laporan perlulah dibuat dalam masa yang singkat dan tepat kandungannya.
b. SIAWARA. Merupakan singkatan dari perkataan Siaran Warta Raya.

Ia adalah kejadian yang menarik perhatian umum di mana anggota
tentera terbunuh, mati, cedera atau hilang yang mungkin dilaporkan dalam
media massa. Keadaan SIAWARA adalah seperti berikut:
(1) Operasi, latihan dan tugas (dalam dan luar negara).

(2) Kemalangan udara dan laut.
(3) Kemalangan keretapi atau jalan raya.
(4) Darurat.
(5) Bencana alam.
(6) Sesuatu kejadian atas akibat perbuatan subversif.
(7) Ketika mengawal ketenteraman awam.
(8) Ketika membanteras kegiatan jenayah.
(9) Kemalangan semasa dalam perjalanan pergi ke tempat
bertugas/ibu pejabat dan balik dari tempat bertugas/ibu
pejabat ke tempat kediaman.
(10) Berkhidmat di luar Negara di bawah Pertubuhan Bangsa-
Bangsa Bersatu (PBB) dan sepenuhnya masa menghadapi
situasi berisiko tinggi.
(11) Tugas menyelamat/membanteras jenayah walaupun selepas
waktu pejabat.
(12) Mengalami kecederaan akibat dari tugas rutin di pasukan.
(13) Kemalangan semasa dalam perjalanan dari tempat
bertugas/ibu pejabat ke tempat yang ditugaskan
kemudiannya.
(14) Ketika sedang menjalani latihan sukan dan mengambil
bahagian dalam aktiviti yang dianjurkan oleh unit.
(15) Kemalangan semasa dalam perjalanan dari tempat
latihan/kursus ke tempat bertugas/ibu pejabat.
c. Kawat SIAWARA dihantar ke KEMENTAH dengan perjenisan

keselamatan TERBUKA dan pengutamaan SERTA MERTA.

202. BERITA TENTERA AM (BERITERA)

(4) Membunuh diri.
(5) Meninggal dunia ketika dalam THTC.

a. These messages should be originated 48 hours (72 hours for

arrivals at port on Monday) prior to the arrival at any naval port. Senior
officers of ship in company are to co-ordinate requirements and forward
them as a single message.
b. With immediate effect on receipt of this new change, the security

classification of LOGREQ and fuel/water state messages in peace time are
to be classified RESTRICTED and above, depending on the operational
situation. In war, however, such messages should not normally be lower
than CONFIDENTIAL.
c. The address varies according to the station but normally to the

operational commander and base support units.
d. Requirements under items F, G, H and M are to state whether the

stores are required immediately, i.e. on arrival or at earliest opportunity.
e. The format is shown below. Non applicable items are to be omitted.
