     A client wants to host a dinner for 350 pax on round


    table arrangements. The banquet hall Available is
    100 ft. by 60 ft. without any pillars in between and
    standard size of tables available is of 72 inches’
    diameter. Find out if the request of the client can be
    accommodated in a banquet hall or not.

    Given information:
    Total number of pax = 350
    Area of hall = 100ft by 60ft = 6000 sq. ft.
    Diameter of the round table = 72 inches or 6ft

    Let the number of tables which can be accommodated in the


    hall be ‘x’

    Radius of circle including radius of table, width of chair and


    gangway area: -
    Radius of table (3ft) + width of chair (2ft) + gangway (3ft)
    = 8 feet
    Using formula of area of circle: -
    ΠR^2 multiplied by ‘x’ = 6000
    Π (8) ^2 × ‘x’ = 6000
    Therefore, ‘x’ = 6000/64π = 29.82 ~ 30 tables
    So, the hall can accommodate around 30 tables. If one table
    can accommodate 12 pax; then we can easily accommodate
    (30 × 12) = 360 pax.

    Hence, yes, we can fulfil the request of the client.

    Theme
    Theme can be as simple as a color scheme that
    highlights style. The black and white formal theme
    allows for a great deal of creativity to be implemented,
    as the only constants are the contrasting colors. Mixing
    these colors is relatively simple and tablecloths,
    centerpieces, and artwork in these colors are relatively
    easy to find. We can use dim white lighting to set the
    mood, and black tablecloths and streamers to create a
    unique atmosphere. Black and white confetti, flowers, or
    various other objects can be used as centerpieces.
    Making the event black tie in dress will also complete
    the color scheme and create a stylish environment.
