Philippine Military History Reflection Paper

As an aspirant new cadet, it's important on behalf of me to know the history of Philippine
Army. History, obviously, contains a great impact on the current. It explains why we in
certain situation and what events are led to it situation. it's required for us to own a
background about the Philippine Military to be told and to chop the curiosity about the
history. The Philippines has many alternative military branches, and their military is
comparatively young in nature compared to the opposite nations. The branches
represent the military of the Philippines (AFP) they incorporate the military, Navy,
Marine Corps, and Air Force. From the Battles before Colonization, The forces’ first test
(1521), The fight for freedom(1892-1898), Philippine Army’s’ Rebirth(1898-1935), In
warfare II(1941-1945), Building the Headquarters; Expanding Horizons (1957- Early
70’s), the military as a Nation Builder (1972-1986) ,Continued Sacrifice, Bravery and
Patriotism (2000s), And to The Philippine Army today are the result and reflection on
how our Philippine Army’s evolved to be more well-disciplined, well-trained, brave, and
courageous to serve the fellowmen and also the country. The defense force of the
Philippines, being the protector of the people, plays an important role in preserving
peace and harmony, by defending the country against terrorism and other kinds of
threats, whether of civilian or military nature. As military soldiers reflect on their own
training and combat experiences, history provides a basis. Knowing the past battles
helps us as a future leader to grasp our responsibilities. Knowing the history since
elementary could be a great learning for us to grasp the happenings in past. Personally,
Philippine history is vital to Filipinos because it's essentially a record of what we've
done, as a rustic, to induce to this condition that we sleep in. We'll recognize the value
of discipline and, as a result, the need to develop personality, trust among team
members that can overcome the debilitating effects of combat trauma and the corrosive
effects of persistent danger. By staring at the common traits of fine leaders, I would find
something to boost or inspire my leadership. One useful analogy is to think about a
rustic as an individual, and its history because the person's memories and experiences.
someone learns, grows, and matures supported his experiences. Good experiences
function his source of pride and confidence, while bad experiences function his source
of learning. The important thing is that the person should process these experiences
and apply the teachings to what he plans for within the future, History works the
identical way for a rustic. By gaining a better understanding of, learning from, and
processing our collective experiences as a country. The first goal of studying military
history, in my opinion, is not to ‘emulate' former commanders' methods, but rather to
learn about leadership, command, and strategy. logistics, and therefore the working of
the commander’s mind. Additionally, this lesson covers the examination of leadership
tactics integrated with relative technological developments, and the way a nation’s
distinctive culture influences wartime actions that drive economic, global, and political
phenomena. Understanding how the planet works at large, as war has always been a
propulsion in both the triumph and downfall of civilizations, the formation of cultures,
and even the event of technology could be a crucial knowledge for us.
